The Opportunity:
We are excited to offer a fantastic internship opportunity for 6 months. If you're looking to gain valuable experience and can commit to the full program, we encourage you to apply!
You will be part of a dynamic retail business environment and support sales distribution and brand building activities for channel expansion within Singapore. During this internship, the candidate will also gain good exposure with hands-on working experience to key account management in a local retail FMCG business and deliver brand objectives. This will be a hybrid role where the intern will be require to be on field visits, as well as work in the office.
In this role, your tasks could include:
- Assist in the development of business strategies by using data and statistical analysis to Identify trends and market opportunities.
- Assist with the setup/intergration of new merchandising application
- Work closely with Key Account Manager to ensure successful listing of new products into retail stores
- Weekly/Bi Weekly store visits to check out retail stores & report on competitor’s marketing & retail presence
- Weekly/Bi Weekly store visits to talk to relevant store management to get retail feedback + survey.
- You will also be responsible for any other projects or tasks that may arise.
Requirements:
- Skilled in the use of MS Office tools including Outlook (or related email tool) Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated and self-starter, with a strong work ethic and a sense of confidentiality.
- Possesses cross-cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence.
- Articulate, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good balance of a professional attitude while having fun.
- Strong desire to learn along with a strong sense of ownership.
- Must be able to commit to a 6-month internship.
