Roles & Responsibilities
Key Requirements:
Educational Background:
โข Possess a degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering,
Building Science, Project Management, Construction Management, or other related
construction and engineering disciplines.
Experience:
โข Minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience in the building construction
industry.
โข Preferably experienced with HDB Projects, having completed at least one project
Skills:
โข Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both
writing and verbal formats.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Overall Site Project Coordinator, you will lead a team responsible for the day-to-day
operations of the project, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements and standards.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Project Management & Supervision:
โข Oversee and review contractorsโ submissions, ensuring compliance with the latest
requirements and timely approval from relevant authorities.
โข Supervise and manage contract administration, implementing a comprehensive quality
assurance program to meet contractual quality standards.
โข Ensure project cost control and monitoring, maintaining budget compliance.
Quality Assurance & Inspection:
โข Manage and maintain projects upon completion, conducting inspections and ensuring
proper handover to relevant authorities.
โข Evaluate contractorsโ work programs, review major milestones, and recommend
necessary adjustments.
โข Establish and implement quality management systems and safety and risk
management plans.
Coordination & Communication:
โข Coordinate with site project coordinators and supervisors to ensure compliance with
specifications and approved work methods.
โข Manage the contractorโs construction activities, monitor submissions, and clearances
from relevant authorities.
โข Conduct quality inspections and initiate preventive or corrective actions as needed.
Problem Solving & Liaison:
โข Identify and solve site problems, coordinating with contractors and HDB to resolve
issues promptly.
โข Conduct joint verification of contractorโs progress payments and coordinate all
services for timely delivery.
โข Respond to emergency matters and liaise with public and relevant authorities for
feedback or claim matters.
Documentation & Reporting:
โข Ensure timely submission of reports, processing of progress claims, and handling
claims for extension of time.
โข Monitor projectโs master program and costs, informing HDB of potential overruns and
recommending mitigation measures.
