• Handling and monitoring the operational processes for funds under management.
• Participate in the implementation of fund structures.
• Work with Fund Administrators on fund subscriptions, transfers, redemptions, and various investment reports to investors.
• Assist in performing regular fund NAV valuation, trade booking, reconciliation, corporate actions, NAV reporting, financial reporting as well as client reporting.
• Review the accuracy and completeness of clients’ statements of accounts which will include capital activity, investment activity, income and expense accruals, valuation adjustments, etc.
• Support quarterly regulatory reporting to MAS.
• Handle day-to-day fund operations such as preparing invoices, opening bank accounts, ad-hoc clients’ requests, and routine regulatory reporting.
• Assist to manage and coordinate compliance and regulatory requirements involving auditors, corporate secretary, tax advisors and legal counsels.
• Assist in customer due diligence matters.

PROFILE

• A Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Accounting or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience working in fund accounting, and knowledge of doing manual reconciliation will be an added advantage.
• Experience in KYC/AML-related compliance matters will be an added advantage.
• Deadline-oriented with the ability to complete assigned tasks independently, with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel skills, is a must.

The Role
Reporting to Regional Senior Accounting Manager, this role will play key role in managing full spectrum of accounting and reporting in Singapore and also their regional business. You will involve in the full sets of accounting including AP, AR, GL and support their month end closing, tax reporting, audit reports to make sure internal control put in place. Additionally, you will drive continuous process improvement and ad-hoc projects such as new system implementation.

Your Profile
To be a successful candidate, you must have:

• Degree in Accounting or ACCA qualified
• At least 3-4 years of accounting and reporting exposure.

Overview of the Function

The Accountant will be based in Singapore and is responsible for daily accounting functions of the Singapore office. This role will work closely with the Finance Manager – Singapore and Financial Controller – Asia, based in Hong Kong, and the Office Manager in Singapore.

Key responsibilities and deliverables

• Responsible for daily accounting operational functions, month end closing, audit, annual return and other reporting
• Bank reconciliation and cashflow forecast
• Assisting in budget preparation and cost analysis

• Liaising with external auditors, tax advisor, company secretary and other service providers
• Liaising with internal stakeholders including partners, and other business services functions.

Key requirements (Communication/skills/experience)
