Job Responsibilities

The role holder, reporting to the Financial Controller, leads the full spectrum of Finance one of the business unit of the company; financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project management, property management, tax planning, corporate governance and treasury matters, in compliance with Financial Reporting Standards and Group accounting policies.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards and group guidelines.

Senior Accountant - Reporting and Tax

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Month-End Closing Procedures:

• Execute all month-end closing procedures promptly, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting within third working day.
• Maintain and monitor accrual and prepayment schedules, making necessary adjustments and releases.
• Collaborate with other functional groups to analyse balance sheet movements and conduct in-depth operational expenditure (OPEX) analyses.

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience in audit and commercial environments, with a strong background in financial reporting, tax, and compliance.
• Prior experience managing accounting functions for overseas branches or subsidiaries, especially in Taiwan, is highly valued.
• In-depth understanding of Singapore GST and other relevant tax regulations.
• Proficiency in SAP S4/Hana, SAP ECC and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
