• Automate reporting tools for financial statements and compliance requirements.
• Integrate accounting systems with other enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, payroll).
• Ensure data security and compliance with Singapore’s financial regulations (e.g., IRAS, GST).
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide user support for financial systems.

• Tuas (pick up from Tuas Crescent MRT), Monday to Friday: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM
• After confirmation typically 2 days WFH

Responsibilities

• Billing and Invoicing. Maintain an up-to-date billing system and generate accurate invoices in a timely manner. Ensure invoices are sent to customers promptly.
• Payment Collection and Reconciliation. Follow up on payments to ensure timely collection and proper allocation. Perform account reconciliations.
• Credit Control and Reporting. Conduct billing, collection, and reporting activities within specified deadlines. Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, or irregularities and take appropriate actions.
• Database and Records Management. Maintain accurate and updated customer records in the database. Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Receipt / Cash Management. High volume posting receipts. Follow established procedures for processing receipts and cash handling.
  Process payments and prepare bank deposits efficiently.
• Customer Service (High volume of emails daily). Investigate and resolve customer queries in a professional manner. Address inquiries from customers and sales personnel promptly.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks. Preparing of reports, analysing accounts receivable status, aging and collection performance for management review. Undertake other duties or projects as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting with 1-3 years accounts receivable experience
• Knowledge of accounts receivable and general accounting principles
• Proficient in relevant ERP systems (Esker or Microsoft Dynamics 365 (AX))
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Time management and organizational skills (to deal with high volume emails on daily basis)
• Team player
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Meticulous with good organizational abilities, team player and independent nature

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain full set of accounting records for multiple companies.
• Processing sales data.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Work closely with external counterparties for completion of monthly/yearly closing.
• Provide reliable data for cash flow projections.
• Maintain Fixed Assets Register.
• Review AR/AP ageing with long outstanding balances and follow-up with appropriate actions.
