The Management Specialists are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries across multiple legal entities.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to BPO Management Tower Support (Supervisor), the Management Specialist is responsible for maintaining accuracy of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journals for multiple legal entities and support FCE (Financial Ecosystem System) roll-out of Oracle Cloud and Chart of accounts change.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

· Support Tower Supervisor on FCE readiness activities (eg User acceptance testing, Beta testing, validation of work) & work closely with Accenture India team

· Perform month end account review, including control Account checks and correcting journal entries to clear

· Monitor close progress and review BPO Journal Entry Dashboard for assigned entities for task completion status

· Review Overdue Items Report, follow up with BPO and escalate overdue items as needed

· Conduct pre/post close calls with each tower lead to review finance activity (monthly and quarterly)

· Support journal entries and reconciliations review

· Run report in Blackline and review accounts for aging and value. Perform research and work with BPO owner to resolve. Develop an action plan to resolve R-items >60 days and >$100K

· Generate GL reports, perform trend analysis, and commence Variance Analysis

· Prepare Tower Close Package consisting of variance analysis with commentary, risk and issues log, Balance Sheet Aging (R-Items)

· Monitor BPO performance against the terms of the SLAs. Escalate discrepancies along with CAP to BPO Management Tower Leads. Oversee the implementation of CAP.

· Act as liaison between UPS stakeholders and BPO to fulfill information requests and answer questions

· Review post-close BPO Journal Entry activities to identify opportunities to decrease transaction volume and increase efficiency

· Work across towers to identify risk in tower processes and implement process improvement opportunities

· Ensure BPO compliance with ACR record retention policy

· Work with GAC BPO Management Tower Leads to understand new responsibilities of any migration of new work. Update DLP/SOP

Requirement for the position:

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Possesses at least 5 years relevant experience in accounting or internal audit or public accounting in any industries
• Applies accounting theory and principles are mandatory
• Attention to detail and possess good analytical, problem solving skill
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills to work collaboratively with different stakeholders and remote teams
• Proactive and independent team player who enjoyed working in dynamic environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel

Job Description

The Associate Manager is responsible for reviewing day-to-day accounting activities including, calculation of daily/monthly NAV (Net Asset Value), compiling standard financial statements, and analysis of regular fund income/expense accrual for assigned funds or those performed by the team. Also ensuring that the NAVs are accurately reported on a timely basis within tight deadlines, and ensure strong internal controls are maintained in accordance with financial policies

Accountabilities

- Daily Accounting

• Handle accounting for assigned moderate to complex funds, including review of daily price control checks, P&L reasonableness, inter system reconciliations, ensuring that reconciling items are investigated and resolved, or escalated in a timely manner.
• Ensure controls are in place and accounts are accurate daily, providing clear and accurate management information to support decision-making.

- Month End Tasks

• Fully reconcile the month end trial balance to independent support for the assigned moderate to complex funds.
• Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliation (“ME pack”) fully supported with source documentation.
• Provide insightful commentary for balance sheet and P&L movements.
• Ensure balance sheet is reported in accordance with relevant accounting standards, Investment Company Audit Guide, and accounting policies as appropriate.
• Review investors allocations and fees calculation

- Price Products

• Daily and monthly product pricing for assigned funds.
• Understanding the pricing methodology and valuation models for applicable products in sufficient detail to be able to ensure absolute accuracy.

- Other responsibilities

• Prepare yearend audit financial statements and audit packs
• Answer ad hoc questions from various groups including auditors (internal and external), and the global peer group.
• Work with portfolio manager and traders for the assigned fund to improve knowledge of financial products and trading strategies.
• New business onboarding such as fund documentation review, drafting of operating memorandum & pricing policy, trade interface development and systems setup
• Provide adequate coaching and guidance to team members. Keep abreast of all alternative investment industry developments and drive any procedural or technology enhancements accordingly
• Assist Managers on projects such as process improvement, query follow up and issue resolution
• Work with team members in Operations, Investor Services function as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and report on the performance of international investments. Develop financial models to forecast returns and assess related risks.

• Analyze cashflow and build strong relationship with banks in ensuring optimal use of financial resources.

• Prepare detailed financial statements for regional subsidiaries, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Ensure adherence to local accounting standards and corporate policies.

• Prepare financial reports and analysis to senior management for budgeting and forecasting initiatives.

• Identify and implement enhancements to financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics from an accredited institution. Professional certifications (such as CFA or CPA) are strongly preferred.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on investment returns, treasury management, cash flow analysis, and regional accounting.

• High proficiency in financial software and accounting systems.

• Capability to navigate ambiguity and perform effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in China.

Budget controlling

- Manage all subsidiaries under the region to achieve financial target

- Liaise with BUs for sales and profit improvement

- Reporting for the visibility of business performance to management and BUs

- Identify management and business issues and propose for solution from FAD perspective

- Support the Mid-term plan by communicating with BUs

Inventory and AR improvement

- Liaise with business for inventory to achieve the target

- Liaise with all subsidiaries to achieve AR target

- Initiate to develop and implement operational rule and tools

Cooperation with headquarter in Japan

- Establish a good relationship with Japan headquarters for better cooperation.

- Reporting the financial numbers and provide analysis to Japan headquarters in a timely manner.

- Understand Japan headquarters’ direction and deploy it to the region
