Responsibilities:
To handle full set of accounts and reconciliation reports for the group and its entities;

• To handle and responsible for annual statutory audit, taxation matters
• Perform daily accounting routine functions;
• Support on cash flow management, intercompany transactions and settlement;
• Advise management on the organisation's exposure to risks and the involvement of financial institutions, money market instruments and treasury management functions where applicable
• Analyse and assess the impact of investment decisions on the financial position of the organisation
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the organisation's financial system and determine any areas of improvement
• Analyse vessel depreciation, profit and loss
• Oversee the preparation of the organisation's budget

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, candidates with CPA / CA / ACCA is an advantage

At least 6 years of proven record as Finance Manager

Strong leadership experience in building and scaling teams

Highly motivated individual, independent and hands-on will be crucial

Confident communicator with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders with different cultural background

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

Our client is a renowned automotive company in Singapore and they are looking for an Accounting Assistant to sit in their Finance Department to handle the Accounts Payable Segment. This role is located in Tuas, transportation will be provided from the nearest MRT station.

Your responsibilities:

• Processing of payments through receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
• Processing of staff claims via e-claims portal
• Identifying and flag any irregularities detected during invoice processing
• Recording of expenses to accounts and cost centers based on the invoice nature
• Performing bi-monthly and weekly payment runs to suppliers and employees
• Performing supplier reconciliation every month
• Filing of documents

Ideal Candidate:

• Diploma in Finance/ Accounting / Equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience as a Accounts Payable/Accounts Officer
• Knowledgeable of SFRS/IFRS
• Proficiency in Accounting software and MS Office would be highly considered for the role

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for month-end closing and reconciliations.
• Handle and maintain full set of accounts, which include Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) closing and reporting.
• Process invoices in a timely manner and follow up with suppliers when required.
• Validate with supporting documents and posting of supplier invoices.
• Prepare payment voucher for invoices posted and ensure timeliness in payment.
• Handle suppliers’ queries related to payables.
• Process tax payments.
• Monitor, clear and follow up on long outstanding balances.
• Provide administrative support during budget preparation.
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits.
• Reconcile inventories with third party warehouse system.
• Timely preparation and submission of GST returns, cash flow forecast and income tax.
• Processing of shipments in SAP shipments module.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional certification.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Good knowledge of SAP software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to details, accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping.
• Able to work independently.
• Good time management skills and ability to meet assigned deadlines in a fast pace working environment.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
