We are seeking for an independent, detail-oriented, highly motivated, communicative team player who understands the purpose of their work and is driven with the bigger picture in mind. They will work closely with the Head of Audit (HOA) and the stakeholders, including but not limited to, the Resource Deployment Partner, the finance team and business development team, in the firm in optimising operation efficiency and accelerating team success. Given the sensitivity of the data that the individual will be handling, the individual needs to be sensitive about confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Business Support

• Assist and reports to the HOA in the regular (weekly, monthly, yearly, ad-hoc as required) updates, maintenance and tracking of key financial performance indicators of the partners and portfolio holders in the AASL, such as ageing, status of projects, utilization, progress billings etc.
• Using Microsoft, Netsuite and other digital tools/systems to aid them in analysing the variances or red flags over time or for irregularities and to generate reports
• Learn and when necessary, perform tasks such as creation of engagement codes, perform date entry and management, perform timely updates of client and project data in Netsuite and OpenAir.
• Update and maintain the master AASL portfolio list for wins and losses on a timely basis, tracking the potential implications in the respective financial years and help to update the portfolio by managers/partners on the instruction of the HOA and/or Resource Deployment Partner
• Takes part in projects to work with stakeholders to improve the operation efficiency or to generate reports
• Proactively communicate with the stakeholders and report to the HOA on a timely basis re any red flags, concerns or movements
• Preparation and generation of monthly, yearly and ad-hoc data/reports for the purpose of management reporting, reporting to regulators etc on Excel and PPT.
• Reconciliation of the audit portfolio list with the list on Netsuite (accuracy and completeness of data)
• Performs regular check for updates in client information and ensure timely update done on Netsuite

Project Management

• Work closely with the service line leader and resource deployment partner
• Collect data for project progress reporting and benchmarking
• Follow established quality control policies, processes and procedures
• Support the coordination of site meetings with the various project stakeholders
• Coordinate with the various disciplines and project teams to work within the project timeline and budget

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration/Accountancy/Finance or relevant discipline
• Minimum 4 – 5 years of relevant experience
• Excellent analytical skills
• Independent, objective and assertive, meticulous, proactive, keen to learn and interact.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel in the design, creation and use of Pivot Tables and V-Look Up.
• Open to changes and challenges

Job Summary

The Accounting Manager is in-charge of full set accounts of accounting bookkeeping for all subsidiaries of the group apart from Vietnam accounting. This is an exciting new opportunity which allows full remote work.

Responsibilities
- Supervise Accounting and Finance team
- Oversee all financial operations of all entities of Bitcastle Group
- In charge of all monthly/quarterly/yearly accounting reports for all entities of Bitcastle group, including preparation of group financial consolidation reports, tax filing documents, cashflow management report, bank and crypto reconciliation report
- Review and make all journal entries including accruals/ adjustments ; may determine and prepare appropriate journal entries for more complex business transactions
- Handle transfer pricing project for group entities
- Profit and loss management, financial analysis, proposal and implementation of profit improvement
- Establishment of accounting and financial structure (identification of current status, identification of issues, and formulation and implementation of improvement plans), implement accounting system of group companies
- Handle financial risk management reports periodically, collaborate with product sides to identify risks to make improvements in terms of product and operations set-up
- Instruct data team to build automated report on BI team to capture revenue, expenses and balances in cryptocurrencies on daily basis
- Liaise with development teams to understand how products work on exchange in order to build daily PnL and balance reports for the management team, and prepare daily group PnL report and monthly forecasted group PnL

Requirements

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Accounting
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting
- IFRS familiar
- Proficient in English and Japanese communication (speaking and writing)
- Experienced in multi-country – multi entities accounting is mandatory
- Perform under time constraints and meet deadlines

Accountant

Working location: Suntec Tower

Working day: Mon - Fri 8am -5.15pm

Main Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts for the company.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of management and statutory reports
• Conduct financial and operational performance analysis for each division monthly
• Responsible for quarterly GST reporting and group reporting to holding company
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and ensure corporate compliance
• Perform lease amortization calculations per IFRS 116, estimated credit loss allowance calculations per IFRS 109 and prepare tax computations
• Monitor balance sheet items (including accruals) and following up to clear outstanding items
• Prepare debtor and credit lists regularly to identify overdue items timely
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Proficiency in SAP accounting software
• CPA certification or progress towards CPA is a plus
