Key responsibilities

• Handle corporate accounting and full set of accounts for the group
• Liaise with external compliance consultancy firm to prepare MAS reporting and filing
• Cover cash flow, budgeting, tax filing, GST
• Liasie with external provider to handle payroll
• Liaise with external auditor to assist in audit
• Other ad-hoc corporate accounting duties

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other accounting qualifications
• Around 3 to 7 years of corporate accounting experience
• Exposure to fund management or asset management experience is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Ensuring delivery of audit and assurance services for stakeholders, in line with the agreed standards
• Conducting independent audits wherever required
• Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and auditees to ensure smooth conduct of audit engagements
• Developing cordial relationships with external parties including external auditors and regulatory authorities, as necessary
• Timely and quality completion of audits and their stages
• Supporting Audit Committee processes

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Post qualification internal/external audit work experience of at least 5 years with a minimum of 2 years in auditing general insurance companies
• Insurance qualification will be an advantage
• Awareness of insurance regulatory environment in Singapore
• Awareness of the principles of risk management
