About the Company:
A well-established main contractor with a global presence, renowned for delivering high-quality construction projects, is seeking a talented BIM Manager to lead the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes on a new, exciting project.

Role Overview:
As the BIM Manager, you will oversee the adoption and execution of BIM technology and workflows throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers an opportunity to drive innovation, optimize collaboration, and ensure project success by managing BIM processes effectively.

Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications for a BIM Manager:

Key Responsibilities:

BIM Strategy Development: Develop a BIM strategy tailored to the project requirements, incorporating industry standards and company procedures.

Model Coordination: Lead coordination meetings with multidisciplinary teams to manage model integration and resolve clashes. Oversee the creation and maintenance of BIM models, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

BIM Execution Plan: Develop and execute a BIM execution plan to achieve project goals, milestones, and deadlines.

Communication and Training: Provide BIM-related training to project team members, including design engineers, construction managers, and site staff.

Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure BIM models meet project requirements and industry standards.

Data Management: Manage digital documentation and ensure successful data handover at project completion.

Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between project team members, including architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree / Diploma Holder in any related discipline
• BIM Certification
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Check the materials and work in progress to ensure compliance with specified requirements and safety regulations
• Lead and coordinate with the site engineers, site supervisors & project manager for site activities
• Conduct daily site inspection and supervision of deep excavation/mined and bored tunneling works
• Review and prepare method statements for submission to client
• Monitor and track site progress, manpower mobilization and equipment deployment
• Ensure job safety analysis and site safety compliance
• Prepare work progress report
• Plan the construction schedule and coordinate various subcontractors to ensure work runs smoothly
• Cost monitoring for the site activities
• Responsible for Traffic Staging & Sustainability Objectives
• Prepare and execute Early Works & Temporary Works (including Land Access)
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
• Handle stakeholders relationships with a collaborative approach
• Civil Construction- Earthwork, Concrete and Steel Structures, Diaphragm walls, Earth Anchor,Piling,Girder etc
• Any other adhoc duties which may be assigned as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction industry with at least 8 years of experience in Road or Civil projects in an EPC main contractor capacity handling mega infrastructure project
• Meticulous with leadership/problem-solving skills/qualities
• Experiences in underground tunnelling works projects in main contractor capacity will be an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Capacity to handle pressure
• 6 days work week and ability to work on weekends if needs arise
