About the Role

Key Responsibilities
As the Procurement Manager, you will:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project and regional business objectives.
- Manage procurement resources across bids and projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Lead sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and supplier selection for key procurement packages.
- Maintain and improve procurement policies, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with General Managers, Operations, Project Managers, and Bid Leaders to support procurement needs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and subcontractors locally and internationally.
- Monitor procurement performance and report key metrics to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct and oversee training initiatives to enhance the skills of procurement and project teams.
- Support project teams in managing procurement activities, including drafting contracts and coordinating deliveries.
- Uphold the company’s commitment to safety and quality standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A relevant qualification in business, engineering, or supply chain management.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in procurement, including exposure to construction, engineering, or heavy manufacturing sectors.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale procurement programs from initiation to completion.
- Strong negotiation, commercial acumen, and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a results-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge and proficiency in procurement software systems.
