Job Requirement
1. Diploma/Degree in business, management or human resource discipline.
2. A minimum of 3-5 year of dedicated HR role covering full HRspectrum.
3. Proficient in Japanese language (JLPT N2 level). This position requires accurate and precise communication regarding HR matters with expatriates from Japan as well as Japanese-speaking counterparts such as multiple departments (HR, Finance, IR, Sales, Internal Audit) of the parent company in Japan, JCCI, JETRO, and recruitment agencies.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including being familiar with multiple Excel formulas, designing a set of useful Excel macros that helps automation of manual processes, using Word documents to merge HR policy/Handbook/company rules.
5. Good knowledge of employment related laws and regulations.
6. Possess the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Job Responsibilities
Primary tasks
· Take on all aspects of hands-on HR duties, including employee recruitment, work pass application, payroll, compensation, employee benefits, etc.
· Review and propose improvement to the workflow and procedures. Propose, implement/improve, and maintain HR system data integrity.
· Main contact person of specific HR duties both externally and internally., including Japanese-speaking counterparts such as multiple departments (HR, Finance, IR, Sales, Internal Audit) of headquarter in Tokyo, JCCI, JETRO, recruitment agencies.
· Support Directors to establish and upgrade HR system and policies and propose improvements thereof.
· Perform daily HR duties to cover the absence of other HR staff or subordinates.
Other Tasks
· Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
· Manage and allocate employee schedules for qualification renewal, training, health checkups, etc.
· Attend physical/on-line seminars to learn and collect up-to-date HR information and apply to MPCS HR system, as necessary.
· Undertake other duties assigned by supervisors.
