Job Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with data entry, recording financial transactions, and maintaining accurate accounting records.

- Help in preparing invoices, financial reports, and statements.

- Support in processing payments, reconciling accounts, and tracking expenses.

- Collaborate with the accounting team on various projects and audits.

- Perform administrative duties such as filing, organizing, and handling correspondence.

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing a poly or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Position : Accounts Assistant (Simple Duties - Accounts Payable) - NO EXP REQ
• Location :Cantonment Road (Nearest MRT- Outram Park)
• Working hours : 5 days work week: Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3500 + Performance Bonus
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry : SHIPPING (FREIGHT)

Main Responsibilities:

• Input invoices received from Local Vendors
• AP invoice EDI
• Check and tally monthly Export/Import/General Expenses submitted by Agents against Tariffs and Rates in Company’s system.
• EDI monthly reports into system after reports checked and in order.
• Arrange payment or receipt to/from agents.
• Obtain and compile Estimates and Certificates from Disbursement account and tally to invoices raised for Recovery of 2.5 / 5 years test for the company
• Ad hoc tasks as and when required

Requirements:

• NO EXPERIENCE WELCOME - Training provided
• Advanced / Higher Ite / Graduate Diploma in Accountancy
• 1 years of relevant working experience in similar position is an advantage
• Strong in accounting entries and analytical skills
