· Fulfil the role of a member of the Trade Marketing department in areas not limited to the below:

o Develop, plan and manage trade marketing related functions

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

· University degree holder, preferably in Tourism, Marketing, Communications or related discipline

· Solid experience in tourism industry is a must

· Understanding of Hong Kong as tourist destination as well as prior exposures to Thailand and Vietnam markets are added advantage

We are looking for a business analyst with deep sector knowledge and experience in Hedge Funds administration to lead the development of new products and capabilities for Hedge Fund and Hybrid clients we serve globally. Our core fund administration capabilities spans middle office, core accounting, investor relations and reporting and is powered by our enterprise technology platform - Alpha across front office and ancillary capabilities. You will be leading one or more of the identified strategic workstreams from design to operating model development and deployment. To be successful, you will work across our client facing, product, global delivery, technology and Alpha platform teams to ensure we are developing new products and services that continue to delight our clients.

The successful candidate must be highly organized, possess strong analytic skills, ability to operate independently, good communication skills and an ability to move seamlessly between multiple projects/implementations with changing client requirements. The role will include executing development work for clients specific implementations and as part of the broader private markets offering with all clients.

What you will be responsible for

• Lead and/or perform the execution of specified Global Hedge development programs, including partnering with other members of the client facing, product, global delivery (operations) and technology teams.
• Help create assigned development plans, manage development execution, coordinate requirements gathering, translating and participating in the agile development process, testing and roll-out of capabilities
• Facilitate program governance including compliance with policies, best practices, oversight of issues, risks, audit and compliance items in support of program reporting.
• Participate as product owner or assigned role for agile development programs including organizing program, status tracking, execution status meetings, issue escalation/resolution, and communicating status to internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in development of transition plan to migrate new capabilities into our operating model; and addressing the administrative aspects of establishing the product or service offering
• Develop a deep understanding of the current technology and operating models within State Street supporting and affecting Global Hedge fund clients. This knowledge will increase your ability to create effective plans and execution of development.
• Collaborate with other teams to share approaches, develop best practices and improve the teams capabilities to successfully execute and deliver new capabilities or better serve clients.
• Support annual product assessment, planning and funding prioritization activities as requested by Manager.
• Support development of the Global Hedge Product roadmap as directed by Manager.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience gained either in a fund administration background or related roles where you can clearly demonstrate knowledge of the Global Hedge product offering.
• Project Management skills and/or certifications will be a plus.
• Experience in business requirements analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Manager (Research) in overseeing research projects and grants, including budget management, allocation of student assistants, and processing payments.
• Ensure all research projects comply with regulatory and funding agency requirements.
• Work closely with the Manager (Research), faculty members, and other departments to ensure effective project management and successful completion.
• Process grant administration requests, track changes and expenses, and maintain project reconciliation spreadsheets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with funding agencies and external partners.
• Prepare progress reports, final reports, and other documentation required by funding agencies.
• Compile, maintain, and manage records and filing systems for research grants.
• Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect changes in regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Provide administrative support to the Associate Chair of Research, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing meetings.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other materials for meetings and presentations.
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Manager (Research) and Associate Chair of Research.

Requirements:

• Master or Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a minimum of 3 years of experience in research administration, including budget and grant management.
• At least 3 years of experience in research administration and providing executive-level administrative support.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other automation software.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Highly organized and meticulous, with strong attention to detail.
• Capable of prioritizing tasks effectively and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
