Accounts Executive (Construction) -3 to 5 yrs experience

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

Perform full set accounting functions, generate invoices, issue statement of accounts and follow up on payment from clients.

Maintain accounting files and records.

Preparation of disbursements of bank transfers

Prepare and manage full sets of accounts, including AP and AR function.

Prepare audit schedules and adjustment entries.

Quarterly GST submission and assist in preparation of annually corporate tax submission.

Liaise with company secretary, bankers, local authorities, and other relevant parties pertaining to finance and account related matters.

Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management, as necessary.

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in full spectrum of Accounts preferably in construction or renovation sector. Minimum LCCI/Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.

Familiar in MYOB software will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and Word etc.

Able to work independently, dynamic with initiative within timeline. Good interpersonal skills, independent, problem-solving, positive attitude, self-driven and able to work with minimum supervision.

Preferable to start work immediately or within a short notice.

Working area: close to Aljunied MRT, 5 days’ work week

Responsibilities:

• Perform and maintain full sets of accounts
• Timely preparation of monthly financial and management reports
• Submit GST & CPF e-submission contribution
• Preparing payroll, update and maintenance of employee file (Hire, resignation) Submission such as tax clearance, annual tax filing, NS claims, maternity claims
• Preparation of monthly & year-end fixed assets schedules for auditor
• Liaise with the auditor and related professionals during the financial year

Requirements:

• Min O Level and above in related fields
• At least 2 years of relevant experience is required for this role
• With a Construction background is added advantage
• Able to communicate in English and chinese (in order to handle queries and concerns from English and Chinese speaking counterparts in regards to the accounts and hr related matters.)
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Auto Count)
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure
• Salary will be commensurate based on qualification and experience
• Preferable singaporean only

• Responsible in handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

• Record and reconcile expenses, including employee reimbursements.

• Assist in cash flow planning, ensure accurate update of financial records and reconciliation

• Ensure timely and accurate billing and following up with customers/vendors to ensure timely payments

• Assist in monthly general ledger journals, schedules and closing activities

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor
