Job Description:

• Preparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business
• Developing and presenting project proposals
• Meeting with clients to find out their requirements
• Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales
• Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts
• Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients
• Managing construction schedules and budgets
• Dealing with any unexpected costs
• Attending site meetings to monitor progress
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers

• Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.

Job Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building or equivalent from a recognized University.
• Minimum 5 years of related working experience in residential and industrial projects.
• Good working knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical.
• Good knowledge of Singapore health and safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to use software tools for costing and budgeting.
• An understanding of the construction industry & legal documentation

POSITION PROFILE:

This position works closely with global affiliates, especially Japan counterparts, to develop and improve production control systems for higher productivity, accurate forecast, and on-time delivery. Recommend changes to current practices and works with business representatives to define requirements and propose appropriate solutions. • Act as an expert of Production Control and guide for specialized subjects.
