Accounts Executive, Payroll

Reporting to the Accountant, we are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Executive, Payroll to manage the hotel’s payroll system, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of wages in compliance with applicable tax laws and Four Seasons Hotel Singapore policies. • Ensure labour law compliance regarding overtime, job classifications, and service charges.
• Prepare labour and productivity reports for discussion with Department Heads and the Assistant Director of Finance.
• Assist with special audits such as Workers' Compensation and Labour Compliance.

What you bring:

• Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in payroll or accounting, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in payroll systems, with experience in TIMES Payroll being an advantage.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and payroll-related financial reporting. Knowledge of relevant labour laws and regulations regarding payroll, payroll taxes and employee compensation.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to process large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy.
• High level of professional integrity and ethical standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Schedule & Hours:

This position requires the incumbent to work from Mondays to Fridays, 8.30 am to 6.00 pm.

Key roles and responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the office and maintain the smooth running of the administrative processes.
• Provide secretarial and administrative support to staff and management, including the handling of correspondence, preparing documents, logistics and overseas travel.
• Manage communication channels, such as phone calls and emails. Maintain inquires log as required.
• Collect, sort and distribute incoming mails, correspondences, packages and other incoming materials.
• Maintain record filing systems and ensure the proper retention, archive and disposal of records.
• Oversee office supplies to ensure resources are available when needed.
• Manage and maintain company facilities including coordinate with building management for office maintenance and repairs, vendor contracts, office functions and layout.
• Schedule and track meetings and appointments schedule, meeting rooms’ scheduling, greet and direct visitors.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining full set of monthly accounts including supporting schedules required
• Process receipts and payments
• Prepare and maintain monthly bank reconciliations and statement of accounts

• Any other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Job Descriptions

1. To perform daily bookkeeping activities on account receivable and payable

2. Perform monthly account closing

3. Perform daily receipts reconciliation and ensure daily banking and sales collection are posted accurately and timely

4. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations

5. Perform Account Payable function such as preparation of payment

Skills and Competencies:
