Reporting to the Accountant, we are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Executive, Payroll to manage the hotel’s payroll system, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of wages in compliance with applicable tax laws and Four Seasons Hotel Singapore policies. This role requires knowledge of any Payroll software, strong technical expertise in payroll processes and accounting principles.

What you will do:

• Accurately input and process payroll data for the preparation of cheques.
• Review employee status changes and ensure correct data entry into the payroll system.

Key roles and responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the office and maintain the smooth running of the administrative processes.
• Provide secretarial and administrative support to staff and management, including the handling of correspondence, preparing documents, logistics and overseas travel.
• Manage communication channels, such as phone calls and emails. Maintain inquires log as required.
• Collect, sort and distribute incoming mails, correspondences, packages and other incoming materials.
• Maintain record filing systems and ensure the proper retention, archive and disposal of records.
• Oversee office supplies to ensure resources are available when needed.
• Manage and maintain company facilities including coordinate with building management for office maintenance and repairs, vendor contracts, office functions and layout.
• Schedule and track meetings and appointments schedule, meeting rooms’ scheduling, greet and direct visitors.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining full set of monthly accounts including supporting schedules required
• Process receipts and payments
• Prepare and maintain monthly bank reconciliations and statement of accounts
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Maintain proper filing and documentation
• Any other ad hoc tasks as assigned

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance. the incumbent will be responsible for managing of overall credit and receivable collection functions of the hotel in the most efficient manner in order to minimize the non-payment of accounts and potential bad debts. He will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

• To be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Credit & Account Receivable section.
• To ensure that the hotel credit policy and procedure is adhered to in all departments.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining credit relationship with customers, banks the industry, credit organizations and others for the purpose of obtaining and exchanging credit and financial information.
• To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other duties as designated by higher management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably Manager specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
• Have good communication skills in written and spoken English
• Result and detail-oriented and be proactive
• Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills

Our client is in the engineering industry, with a global presence. They are currently looking to hire an Accounts Executive to assist them with full sets of accounts. This is a regional role where you will be responsible for Asia countries.

The Role
Reporting to the manager, you are to handle full sets of accounts for Asia entities and your responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, invoicing and collections, monitoring payments with regards to the stages of the projects, GST reporting, liaising with auditors and tax agents, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, reporting, as well as supporting projects such as system transformation.

Your Profile

You should have a Diploma or degree in finance and accounting, brings along with you at least 5 years of accounting experience. Prior experience working in related industries such as construction, advertising or consultancy firms will be advantageous. You must have good communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, have the ability to work independently, comes with good time management skills, and are detail oriented.
