Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive with a minimum of 3 years of

working experience in accounting or a related field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for

managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the

finance department’s overall efficiency. A diploma or higher qualification in accounting, finance, or a

related discipline is required.

Key Responsibilities:

 Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage and process invoices, payments, and receipts in a

timely and accurate manner.

 Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial

reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

 Reconciliation: Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations to ensure

accuracy and completeness of financial records.

 General Ledger Management: Maintain and update the general ledger, including journal

entries and adjustments, ensuring alignment with company policies.

 Expense Management: Monitor and track employee expenses, verifying compliance with

company policies, and processing reimbursements.

 Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the finance team in the preparation and analysis of

budgets and forecasts.

 Tax and Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensure

compliance with local financial regulations and standards.

 Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits, providing

necessary documentation and information.

 Financial Analysis: Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes

and support decision-making based on data analysis.

 Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative duties within the finance

department, as needed.

Qualifications:

 Education: Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

 Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.

 Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar), and

strong MS Excel skills.

 Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and local tax

regulations.

 Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills,

and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

 Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact

effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

 Experience working in IT industry-specific knowledge, if applicable.

 Knowledge of accounting software/Microsoft Office used in your company].

The Accounts Payable Executive will assist on all accounts payable matters relating to Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Dubai, and newly incorporated entities as assigned.

Your future role at QRT:

• Handle vendors’ invoices, including checking, verifying, compiling and performing call backs
• Prepare payment voucher summary and arrange for approval
• Payment processing via telegraphic and interbank transfer
• Prepare invoices for intercompany billings
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned

Your present skillset:

• At least 3+ years Accounts Payable experience
• MS Office skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative, with strong time management skills
• Eye for details, highly meticulous

• SAP Posting and bank clearing
• LC Documentations
• uploading of bank statements
• Reporting on month-end FX positions and month-end bank account reconciliation
• Input of daily loan transactions in SAP and prepare interest settlement workflow
• Maintain stable daily operation and supporting other units/ affiliates
• Other finance related administrative work

Job Requirement

1. Degree/Diploma in finance related field
2. Knowledge in SAP is a plus
3. Experience within Treasury functions and good understanding of cash management

What the Role Involves

1. Keep track of receiving Ocean Freight Forwarding Division., Supplier through email or by post.
2. Register Supplier invoice date and number before sending the invoices for verification and approval to PIC of Ocean Freight Forwarding Division.
3. Follow up with chaser emails for return of Supplier Invoices after deadline of submission by Ocean Freight Forwarding Division.
4. Check and post Supplier invoices into YUNAS
5. Prepare cheque/GIRO payment to Suppliers on monthly basis.
6. To reconcile Account Payable on monthly basis
7. To complete analysis of long outstanding Accrual Report
8. Back up PIC for daily payment request by Ocean Freight Forwarding Division to Co-loader to clear cargoes on behalf of Yusen Logistics Singapore

Job Requirements

• Minimum 'O' Level
• Competent in MS office especially Microsoft Excel
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Good spoken and written communications
