Roles & Responsibilities

Summary:

We are looking for individuals who have strong self-motivated and strong passion for learning and growing a career in an expanding Corporate and Accounting Services company in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain clients’ accounts including accounts receivables, accounts payables, bank reconciliations, and invoicing
2. Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of accounts
3. Assist in quartly GST submission and filing
4. Ensure the accuracy of financial documents as well as compliance with relevant laws and regulations
5. Liaise with clients on statutory and corporate compliance matters
6. perform other ad-hac duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Diploma/Degree in Finance or Accountancy with 2-3 years of relevant working experience
2. Sound analytical and meticulous in numbers
3. Good communication, and interpersonal skills and enjoy teamwork
4. Ability to work independently with strong accountability
5. Proficient in computer skills and high efficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Description:

• Aid in monthly financial closing by compiling and verifying schedules, preparing journals, and conducting bank reconciliation and audit schedules.
• Participate in accounts payable functions, verifying invoices for payment processing and addressing payment queries.
• Coordinate with inter-company parties to follow up on outstanding transactions.
• Assist in departmental administration tasks.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred
