Job Summary

Support Finance Lead to manage company Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable. Other responsibilities include Inventory/Fixed Assets Management and other ad-hoc administrative work

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

• Raise tax invoices and credit notes in the company’s accounting system
• Reconcile A/R balance on a regular basis; monitor and chase long overdue debts with relevant parties
• Update client accounts based on payment or contact information

Accounts Payable

• Verify and input suppliers’ invoices/payments in the company’s accounting system
• Process payments on a timely basis
• Reconcile A/P balance on a regular basis
• Reconcile petty cash disbursements

Inventory/Fixed assets

• Inventory management, investigating discrepancies
• Resolve inventory issues, inventory levels, obsolescence, disappearance
• Periodic stock-taking and preparation of inventory report
• Manage fixed assets activities and ensure all assets are accountable

Ad-hoc Administrative work

• GST and other statutory reporting
• Bank reconciliation
• Maintain a full set of accounts and produce monthly consolidated reports
• Liaising with external auditors during the annual audit and preparation of draft audited accounts
• Assist in the preparation of annual and revised budget
• Ad-hoc Task

Skills & Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting
• Knowledge of QuickBooks will be an advantage
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Aptitude in problem-solving
• Singaporeans or PR are welcome to apply

Job Scope:

• Handle invoice matching task; receive, review, and verify all invoices and ensure its accuracy and supported with relevant documents before posting to accounting system.
• Ensure all documents are properly filed and scan to document management system.
• Perform monthly vendors’ reconciliation.
• Liaise with vendor to resolve all discrepancies in relation to billing.
• Prepare payment and submit to superior on time.
• Any ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements:

• With a relevant accounting qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in similar capacity.
• Proactive, good team player, mature and able to work independently.
• Possess adequate skills in Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word.
• Able to meet a tight deadline.

Responsibilities :

• Handle Full / Partial set Accounts and other adhoc duties.
• Monthly preparation of final accounts, audit and tax schedules.
• Preparation and submission of GST returns.
• Liaise and negotiate with company bankers & auditors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel & Words.
