• Record and process all business transactions within the organisation's accounting system using principles of double-entry accounting.
• Record transactions and events relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments, capital structure and finance costs.
• Record transactions and events relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash.

Job Description & Requirements

The Accounts Administrative Executive supports the finance department by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, fielding communications with clients, and reconciling bank statements and invoices. An ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and effective at managing multiple tasks within deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts including month end closing activities, financial and management reports
• Assist with basic accounting functions such as preparing financial documents, including bills, invoices, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Enter financial information into appropriate software programs.
• Manage company ledgers and assist in closing the books monthly.
• confidentially handle sensitive information.
• Provide administrative support such as answering phone calls, processing mail, and scheduling appointments.
• Generate financial reports as required.
• Respond to accounting inquiries from colleagues in a timely manner.
• Support the Accounting department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions, updating the ledger, etc

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma or certification in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g.,Xero).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on assigned duties.
