Job Requirements

Water Efficiency Manager (WEM) certification is an advantage.

Job Description

Performs the duties of assisting the department in training administration. Performs the duties of

assisting the department in energy, utilities and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) conservation as outlined by the Energy Conservation Act (ECA), Carbon Pricing Acts (CPA), Public Utilities Board (PUB) and

related implementing regulations.

Learning and Training Development Needs

Identify current knowledge gaps and future training requirements.

Develop training plans, delivery methods, and training material and conduct training for the

company to enhance the technical knowledge of the organisation.

Ensure timely registration of internal course applications and notification of the training details.

Coordinate and record training activities, conduct staff orientation, and evaluate training

effectiveness.

Audits and agency matters

Participates in audits, visits, and dialogues with third parties and authorities (NEA, PUB, JTC etc.)

Assists in internal audits and assess the company’s Energy Management System, GHG verification,

and related management schemes.

Utilities and GHG emission management

Gathers data on utilities consumptions and GHG emissions.

Assists in the amendments of the monitoring plan, procedure, source, and stream. Analyses the different consumption streams on a regular basis to look for patterns and conduct

trending based on modelling methods.

Raise awareness about the need of reducing energy usage, utility usage, GHG emissions, and water usage.

Utilities efficiency and sustainability projects

Assists in exploring and implementing effective utility management practices

Assists in developing carbon neutral and/or de-carbonisation programs that supports business and

environmental sustainability.

Assists in preparing official proposals for new projects, including estimated costs and anticipated

savings in energy.

Coordinates with the other departments during project execution phases.

Assists in monitoring both short-term and long-term programs and strategies designed to reduce

utilities consumption.
