Job Summary:

Supporting the Payroll Manager, you will handle the full spectrum of payroll function (around 1400 Headcounts) and ensure accurate and timely administration of pay.

Job Duties:

• Process monthly payroll including overtime, allowance, no-pay leave, claims, statutory and other employee payments
• Submit NS make-up pay, maternity and childcare leave claims
• Prepare overpayment recovery letters to resigned staff to claim overpayment due to resignation
• Prepare monthly payroll journals, reports, accruals & cost charging to Finance
• Prepare and send out electronic payslips
• Handle tax clearance submission, monthly CPF submission & annual income tax submission
• Participate and support HR/Payroll Projects
• Handle staff enquiries on payroll matters

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business/HR or equivalent
• Preferably with relevant working experience handling high volume (Min 500 HCs)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in for a fast-paced environment
• Good working knowledge of the Employment Act, CPF & IRAS statutory requirements
• Knowledge in Frontier e-HR System is an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot table/Vlookup)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous and detail oriented
• 2 payruns (28th and 7th)

Responsibilities

• Monthly full set payroll including submission of CPF (3 entities with current headcount of about 330);
• Payroll reports;
• Support yearly salary review and bonus process;
• Employee income tax filing - Yearly IR8E / Tax clearance – IR21
• Filing of Childcare, Maternity, NS, SDL etc claims;
• Government surveys;
• Compensation analysis matters;
• Ad hoc compensation related matters.
• Coordinate corporate credit card related matters, including issuance of cards to new joiners and termination of cards for leavers.
• Statutory reporting on payroll related items (e.g.: annual leave accrual, bonus accrual, etc); and
• Support potential transition to new payroll software.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance / Accountancy with knowledge of HR regulations is preferred.
• Prior experience in using software such as SAP, TIMES, iManage, Chromw River will be advantageous.
