Job Description:
• Assist the Admin Department Head in all aspects of accounting and financial matters, which include the year-end audit procedures, quarterly GST reporting, verification of income tax comps, and the preparation of various reports / responses to government stat boards
• Perform daily accounting duties (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, staff claims reimbursement)
• Handle full set of accounting functions including data entry to computerized accounting system, posting of journals entries (accruals, provisions and prepayments entries) as well as accurate and timely month end closing
• Verify the transactions are posted to appropriate accounts and ensure all payments are properly authorized
• Test, document, report and monitor controls as per the Internal Control systems on frequent basis. Implement corrective actions as per management
• Prepare balance sheet schedules : Fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, reconciliations of inter-company transactions and balances, inventories & etc
• Prepare AP & AR aging records
• Prepare statement of accounts and monitor accounts receivable, cash flow management and manage vendor payment request
• Undertake other ad-hoc reports or duties as required by Admin Department Head.
Requirements:
• Diploma in Accountancy /CAT / ACCA / other relevant qualification in Accounting
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in full set of accounts
• Able to work independently, initiative and a team player
• Ability to multi-task, meticulous and high attention to detail
• Possess good work ethic
• Innovative and able to adapt to industry changes
• Computer literate, strong working knowledge of MS Office (excel with PivotTables, VLookup & etc)
• Familiar with SAP S4/Hana
• Prior some Admin/Account experience shall be an advantage.
