Job Scope

• Responsible for overall efficient and effective management and operation of the restaurant
• Assist Restaurant Manager on daily restaurant operations
• Ensure that all menu items are prepared and delivered in accordance with GYG’s Food Recipe and training guides
• Ensure that GYG speed of service standards are consistently met on shift.
• Maintain a clean and organised restaurant at all times whilst on shift.
• Ensure restaurant compliance with the GYG Food Safety Policy and procedures during the shfit.
• Provide an enjoyable restaurant experience by maintaining a restaurant that is safe, clean and provides customers with an enjoyable ambience whilst running the shift.
• Report on restaurant sales performance for the shift as required by GYG
• Meet cost of goods sold, cost of labour and operating cost targets for the shift set by the management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Handle full sets of accounts and financial reporting.

* Perform GST reporting and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.

* Liaise with bankers, vendors, lawyers, corporate secretary etc.

* Ensure all accounts comply with regulatory requirements.

* Prepare financial reports and perform bank reconciliations.

* Manage monthly staff payroll and reimbursements.

* Submit survey forms/statistics as required by the government authorities.

* Perform HR duties and other administrative tasks.

* Liaise with clients and coordinate with co-workers across different departments.

* Other ad-hoc duties that may assigned.

Job Requirements:

- Degree in Accounting / Finance / ACCA / related qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experiences in similar capacity

- Proficient in ABSS/MYOB and Microsoft Office applications

- Strong communication skills (both oral and written)

- Able to work independently and meticulous with strong analytical skills

- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Experience in handling multiple projects or tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities:

• Prepare payment proposals using methods like cheques and transfers, review invoices, and ensure timely processing of payments through Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA).
• Manage unresolved items in the bank clearing account and follow up on expired cheques and outstanding reconciling items.
• Handle the assessment and filing of withholding tax returns for invoices from overseas vendors.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar AP-focused role.
• Experience in SAP is an added advantage.

• Prepares ingredients by following recipes;slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring,whipping, and mixing ingredients; adding seasonings; verifying taste; plating meals.

• Completes hot meal preparation by grilling,sautéing, roasting, frying, and broilingingredients and assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients.
