The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. The individual will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts, communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances
• Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
• Monitor and prepare cash flow analysis
• Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries or concerns
• Support month-end and year-end close processes as needed
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the accounts receivable function
• Department admin & ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time

Minimum Educational Qualifications/ Experience required:

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a similar role

Skills and Knowledge required:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as MS Business Central, Accpac, etc.)
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
• Service-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with 5 to 8 years of working experience in construction industry
• Able to work independently
• Perform other ad-hoc assignments that are assigned by the management
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Basic knowledge of GST rules and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft office as Excel and Word
• Proficient in Accounting Software such as MYOB, Quickbook
• Able to commence work immediately or within short notice

Job Description:

• Handle a full set of accounts for the company.
• Managing the financial position of the company and directly reporting to the senior management.
• Prepare reconciliation for bank balances payables, inter-company balances etc.
• Prepare cash flow reports for management review.
• Manage cash flow and payment.
• Maintenance of capital budgeting on corporate level and engaging in daily/weekly capital budgeting meetings with senior management.
• Manage day to day accounting, invoicing, payroll, cash management and internal financial reporting.
• Review all invoices and make the relevant payments in a timely manner to relevant suppliers. Follow-up with customers for payments due.
• Manage cash flow and monitor AP/AR.
• Manage monthly payroll processing.
• Handle petty cash.
• Reporting for GST and ensure tax compliance.
• Preparation of audit schedules and reporting.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Accountancy
• Accounting knowledge is necessary
• AT least 1-year experience
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Basic understanding of financial regulations and compliance

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records

   Implement and maintain accounting software and systems.
   
5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
   Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, if applicable.
   

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. Experience in the management and consultation industry is a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  

Job duties include:

Requirements:

• Minimum ’O’ Level or diploma
• Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central (for ERP system) and Retail industry would be an advantage
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
• Positive working attitude, willing to learn and able to multi task
• Meticulous and accurate
• 5.5 days work week
• Able to start work immediately or on short notice

MONTHLY SALARY BETWEEN $3,500 AND $ 4,000.
