The Accounts Executive duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Process payables transactions, including supplier invoices and employee reimbursements, in compliance with accounting principles, GST regulations, and the correct General Ledger (GL) account based on the nature of expenses.
• Review invoices for compliance with financial policies, circulate invoices for departmental verification and approval, and ensure proper documentation is in place before processing payments.
• Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet schedules, vendor accounts, and the general ledger.
• Prepare month-end journal entries, including payable accruals and prepayments amortization.
• Assist in the preparation of GST reports for submission.
• Support year-end external and internal audits, including preparing audit schedules.
• Provide business partnership to business divisions and suppliers regarding Accounts Payable queries.
• Perform ad-hoc finance duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum a Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy or Accounting related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within an MNC and a high-volume environment.
• Strong working knowledge of GST regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with computerized accounting systems. Familiarity with SAP accounting system is an advantage.
• Meticulous, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

As a Shipping Executive, you will be responsible:

• Prepare all shipping documents for import shipments and process bank documents such as Letter of Credit, etc.
• Ensure all documents comply with Singapore’s import regulations and the correctness of documents from suppliers.
• Ensure all documents received on time for clearance to avoid incurring charges due to late clearance of documents.
• Update and communicate with Procurement team on any changes to vessel’s arrival schedule.
• Ensure all documents comply with international trade regulations and the specific requirements of shipping carriers and customs authorities.
• Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining cost-effective shipping solutions.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure they reach their destination on time.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate documentation and shipping schedule.
• Resolve any shipping-related issues or delays in a timely manner.
• Continuous process improvement for documentation and shipping processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulations related to shipping and logistics.
• Carry out administrative tasks such as data input, processing of information, completing paperwork and filling of documents.
• Reviewing freight cost, negotiating rates with freight forwarder companies and propose to HOD for review and approval.
• Work closely with Logistics and Purchasing teams to ensure alignment between inventory levels and shipping schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping documentation, records and transactions for compliance and audit purposes.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in supply chain management and logistics.
• Min 3 years of relevant experience in food service or supply chain management within the manufacturing industry.
• Possess Tradenet Certification.
• Proficiency in using shipping software and tools.
• Knowledge and familiar with shipping term, shipping documentation and L/C preparation and negotiation.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft office applications and in ERP system.
