About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Accounts Assistant/Executive to join our team at Sprint-Cass Pte Ltd in the North Region. This remote role will work from home, supporting our Finance team with daily operational tasks to provide high-quality accounting and bookkeeping services

What you'll be doing: You will be executing the following tasks for Sprint-Cass Group of Companies.

1. Monthly Accounts Receivable function, including but limited to

• Cash & Various (visa, master, currencies) receipt reconciliation for POS
• Perform Sales Submission to CAG

2. Monthly Accounts Payable function, including but limited to

• Recording of suppliers’ invoices
• Consignment settlement with suppliers
• Payments for expenses and to suppliers
• AP reconciliation

3. Monthly Bank reconciliation

What we're looking for

• Min O level with 2 years of data entry experience in accounting
• Good communication and time management skills
• Analytical, meticulous and attentive to details
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and tax regulations in Singapore

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full range of Accounts Receivable (AR) duties, including preparing invoices, verifying sales, managing month-end closing, and reconciling accounts.
• Prepare and process various documents, such as Credit Invoices, Cash Invoices, and handle Ad-hoc Sales.
• Track and monitor collections and payments and update the Aging List for the Sales team to follow up.
• Reconcile outstanding payments, resolve billing disputes, address discrepancies, and respond to related queries with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with Stock Management, including tracking daily stock movements and preparing monthly and year-end stock take reports.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) and generate the Monthly Purchasing Report.
• Help with Accounts Payable (AP) duties, including verifying and preparing payments, issuing cheques, and maintaining the AP Listing.

We are seeking to invite an Accounts Executive with experience in AP accounting and bank reconciliation expertise to consider a role in the West of Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Update invoices received in the Accounts Payable register.
• Circulate invoices to production and subcontracting teams for verification and approval.
• Liaise with procurement or purchasing requestors regarding discrepancies or issues.
• Evaluate all details on invoices for accuracy and completeness, and perform invoice matching tasks.
• Process payments for approved invoices.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations for creditors, banks, and RNV reports.
• Publish accrual listings for month-end closing procedures.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent, preferably with working experience.
