Project Accounting

• Manage Work in Progress (WIP) project costs and revenue.
• Perform WIP reconciliations between subledger and G/L and timely resolve any discrepancies. Reconcile and maintain project-related balance sheet specifications.
• Prepare WIP schedules and monitor project progress.
• Identify and flag variances between estimated and actual costs. Liaise with the project teams regarding cost control, issues to be resolved, provide (un)solicited insights and recommendations.

Routine (AR/AP/Claims/Cash)

• Handle full sets of the Accounts Payable (AP) function (80% of time) and Accounts Receivable (AR) function (20% of time).

About Our Client

Job Description

• Prepare and issue invoices, delivery orders, credit/debit notes, and statements of accounts.
• Follow up on outstanding AR invoices and ensure timely collection.
• Monitor project maintenance schedules, triggering PM when billing is due.
• Track project billing milestones and update receipts accordingly.
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable files and records.
• Prepare and submit AR ageing reports on schedule, escalating collection issues to the Reporting Officer.
• Address billing and payment inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

• Diploma in Accounting/Business Studies or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, use of accounting system are encouraged
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills
