The Office of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) has responsibility for managing the ERM Program for the University. The Office is seeking a Manager, reporting to the Director (ERM) to assist in identifying, analysing and overseeing the management of risks in the University.

Responsibilties

1. Implement Risk Management & Assurance Programs

• Enhance, manage, and execute the University’s ERM Program; apply the ERM framework & Policy and manage the ERM work plan
• Assist to conduct and coordinate risk management workshops throughout the University
• Review & track the key risks identified at University level

2. Make Available ERM Training

• Participate in the creation and delivery of ERM-related educational programs to enhance training and awareness of risk management and policy compliance requirements
• Make available online training and educational resources on ERM Intranet and/or Workday training portal

3. Provide updates and support to key stakeholders

• Assist to provide regular updates to stakeholders, including University senior management and the Audit & Risk Committee (ARC)
• Assist with the ARC secretariat duties for the University, including the preparation of agenda, reports, discussion papers and presentations, as well as in preparing minutes of meeting.
• Monitor internal audit or risk mitigation plan and act as the coordinator for arrangements of meetings, discussions and follow-up with internal stakeholders.

4. Insurance management for the University

• Assist with the administration of the insurance function for the University
• Partner with our insurance broker for insurance matters

Requirements

• A recognised degree in any discipline
• Knowledge and experience in Enterprise Risk Management

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the following:

• Strategic and Operational Analysis
• Process Review
• Workshop Facilitation
• Technology Application
• Project Management
• Experience in the Higher Education Sector

We are open to consider candidates who has less than 5 years of relevant experience. The position offered will commensurate based on the years of experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Hard Skills:

· Understands BOM and Drawings

· Proficient with MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

· Prior experience with ERP systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports the System Development Manager and Application Development Manager to research, design, implement and manage software application programs for Digital Intelligent Building Management System in the Southeast Asia and India region.
• Designs and develops applications to realize enhanced building and occupant safety, enhanced occupant experience with reduced costs and increased efficiency.
• Plans, tests and evaluates new software application programs and identifies areas for modifications in the programs for quality assurance.
• Creates engineering manuals and documents to deploy the developed applications in the region.
• Trains and supports engineers in the region on developed applications. Works together with engineers in the region to execute project engineering and system configuration at site.
• Collect feedbacks from the internal and external stakeholders to make continuous improvement.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering; experience in lieu of a degree will be considered for the right candidate. A degree in computer science is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of programming experience in practical job is required.
• Programming knowledge of Python/Java script/etc
• Strong interest for AI/ML, Digital Twin and energy saving in built environment.
• Ability to communicate and read Japanese as the role requires a lot of communication with HQ and understanding Japanese technical manuals.
• Well versed in specification of Yamatake and Azbil building automation system and product.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Experience in building automation system programming preferred.
