• Position Title: Accounts Officer (Treasury)/ Accounts Assistant (Treasury)

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices and payments for trade vendors.
• Prepare invoices and supporting documents for trade facility applications.
• Monitor invoices lacking Goods Received Notes (GRN) and coordinate with the Sales Team for timely resolution.
• Track advance payments to vendors, ensuring invoices are matched to GRN and accurately posted in the ERP system.
• Manage all transactions related to trade accounts payable within the ERP system.
• Reconcile vendor statements of accounts to ERP records.
• Address year-end audit inquiries specifically related to accounts payable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Accounting and Finance.

About the role:

• Data entry and maintain accurate complete account transcations
• Handles (Non-trade) Accounts Payable Function
• Accurately review a high volume of supplier invoices and ensure all documentation is correctly approved prior to payment
• Ensure prompt payment in accordance wth credit terms and prepare payments.

This role involves providing support and oversight to the company's finance team, ensuring all accounting documentation is stored correctly and remains visible. It includes analyzing transaction records to ensure compliance with financial policies, verifying and processing billing and requisitions for goods and services and ensuring timely client payments. You will also be responsible for overseeing outstanding obligations with suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors, processing and storing bank deposits and invoices, and preparing and submitting tax documentation. The role requires updating accounting databases, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Performing basic office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, processing mail, filing, ordering the pantry item and etc.

• Provide accounting support to the accounting department (e.g. assist to meet month end closing and reporting deadlines)

• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).

• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office

• Liaise with internal departments for reports and various supporting documents

• Manage reimbursement of staff expense claims

• Any adhoc tasks as assigned
