1) Income Audit Function

• Verify Revenue Accuracy: Check that all charges for rooms and F&B are correctly posted to guest folios. Report any discrepancies to the FC/GM and the relevant departments (e.g., Front Office, Duty Manager, or F&B Manager) and ensure proper adjustments are made.

Period of employment : 1 February to 30 April 2025.

• Ensure all charges and payments are posted to the correct ledger and to maintain and to minimize balance of hotel and accounts receivable
• Ensure rates and charges are billed accurately
• Responsible for daily billing and rebilling of running accounts
• Responsible for various reports such as Aging Report, In-house overdue report and taking appropriate action
• Maintenance and controlling of outstanding balances
• Ensure posting of all charges, rebates and collections to accounts are updated
• Manage progress of credit collection
• Assist other accounting sections as requested by Department Head
• Ensures that month end closing is completed accurately and reports are generated within specified days of the month end.
• Maintain efficient administration within the department preparing and submitting operational reports on time.

Working Hours : 3 days per week(weekdays), 5 hours per shift.

Knowledge, experience, skills required

• At least 1 to 2 years of minimum related experience in hotel finance.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Detailed knowledge of working practices of Finance
• Good interpersonal skills required.

Job Descriptions

• Process and prepare daily local outgoing payments to vendor
• Update daily payment and maintain the invoice list in cash book
• Process and prepare vendor’s payment on monthly basis
• Process and update monthly staff claim in accounting systems
• Update operating expenses in accounting systems
• Update outgoing payment transaction in accounting systems
• Other duties as assigned by superior

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in similar capacity.
• Proactive, good team player and able to work independently.
• Possess adequate skills in Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word.
• Able to meet a tight deadline.

Job Scope

-Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including

accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

-To prepare invoices for reporting.

-Preparing all Final Disbursement Accounts (FDA) accurately and within deadlines.

-Prepare and arrange 'Cash To Master (CTM)' with vendors.

-Process payment to suppliers and staff reimbursement.

-Prepare monthly AP journals, postings and schedules.

-Any other adhoc tasks as assigned by your immediate supervisor

Job Requirements:

· Some practical experience in working with accounts/bookkeeping.

· Diploma or its equivalent

· 1 year of experience in account, experience in a shipping industry would be a distinct advantage/ fresh graduates with a diploma in accounting (or similar) would be welcome too.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Practical experience in Microsoft Business Central preferred

· Ability to work in a team, meticulous and responsible.
