• Efficiently undertake a range of duties related to the accounting/bookkeeping/treasury function of the business.

Key responsibilities:

1) Perform full spectrum of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and fixed asset function for several legal entities including invoice posting

2) Ensure all disbursements for vendor invoice and staff claims are processed timely and accurately and comply to policies and regulations

3) Work closely with other functions to proactively manage and resolve payment and receivable issues effectively and efficiently

4) Cash management including funding requirement and managing cashflow

5) Prepare month-end reconciliations and journals

6) Assist Snr Accounts Executive in month end closing

7) Assist in-country compliance with government regulations including external audits and tax returns

8) Any other ad-hoc tasks from management

Requirements:

a) Accountancy in Diploma/Degree or equivalent certificate

b) At least 2 years of general accounting experience is advantageous

c) Has prior working experience with China accounts will be preferred.

d) Knowledge of VAT/GST and withholding tax is advantageous

e) SAP Business one experience will be advantage.

f) Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications.

g) Positive working attitude with a high level of initiative

h) Good interpersonal and communication skill

i) Meticulous, able to work independently as well as in a team

j) Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

• Perform accounts receivable functions, include daily checking as well as reconciliation of invoices, credit notes and payment.
• Follow up with customers’ correspondence emails on accounts related matters.
• Check and prepare daily and monthly sales report
• Follow up on customers’ collections and arrange for cheque deposit.
• Perform reconciliation on customers’ outstanding balance.
• Manage office and workers documentation, filing systems, and do record-keeping.
• Dealing with MOM.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned.
• Telecom industry experience will be added advantage.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist M&E Engineer, Superintending Officer Representation (SO Rep) and Resident Engineer (RE) in the supervision and quality assurance of construction works on site
2. Provide standing supervision as and when required by the M&E Engineer, SO Rep and RE
3. To ensure all installation methods and material used are in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications
4. Liaise with the Contractors/ sub-contractors and other Resident Technical Officers (RTO) in the coordination of site works
5. Highlight discrepancies, resolve site M&E issues and monitor site progress
6. Feedback site progress and irregularities to M&E Engineer, SO Rep and RE
7. Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning
8. To check as-built drawings to tally with site installation
9. Ensure the contractors maintain work safety, cleanliness and tidiness of the site
10. Documentation of site records, ie. Inspection records, T&C records, site meetings etc.
11. Aware of the potential and actual OH&S hazards of his activities at the workplace and to highlight / communicate to the PM when he knows of any irregularities. He shall be aware of his individual OH&S obligations by ensuring that he is adequately equipped with appropriate safety gears, by observing closely to all safety rules / regulations / procedures at site and by attending all relevant site safety trainings.

Requirements

1. Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical or Building Services Engineering from local Polytechnic or other tertiary institutions of equivalent standing
2. Minimum eight (8) years of M&E work experience as a Resident Technical Officer
3. Conversant in local construction practices, air-conditioning, electrical, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary services.
4. Good co-ordination skills
5. Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Self-motivated, proactive and team player
7. Past work experience in healthcare/residential/institutional projects is preferred.
