MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act.

• To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents, and site instructions.

• To check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person as stated below:

• Check shop drawings submitted by contractor.

• Check as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manual submitted by contractor.

• To check on quality of materials and samples delivered to site and report to Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications.

• To check mock-ups done on site, where necessary.

• To ensure that the required construction tests in connection with the construction works are carried out where necessary.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution or relevant qualifications.

* Minimum ten(10) years of relevant experience as a mechanical and electrical engineer, of which at least three (5) years shall be in supervision of works similar in nature to major construction works in buildings, plumbing/Sanitary Experiance.

*Experience in PUB project is advantageous.

Contract Period: 5 years

As a member of the Control and Instrumentation team, you will be responsible for executing maintenance work on instrumentation and control systems in the power plant effectively, efficiently, and to comply with safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out repair and rectification of equipment failure and malfunction. Test and recommissioning of rectified system or equipment
• Carry out the overhaul, inspection, calibration, servicing program during plant scheduled outage.
• Implement modification, upgrading, and installation plans for plant system and equipment for enhancement, availability, and reliability improvement.
• Maintains detailed work reports, spreadsheets, graphs, plots on computer-based software (Maximo, MS Word, and MS Excel)
• Assist Engineers and Technical Officers in the maintenance work
• Supervise contractors under his charge

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Possesses knowledge of Instrumentation
• Preferably possesses 2 years of experience in Power Plant or Oil and Gas industry
• Self-driven, with a good working attitude and a good team player
• Is available on standby after office hours for emergency calls
• Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behavior.
• Be a part of the CERT team and be actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Billing and Invoicing

• Generate and issue accurate customer invoices according to contract terms, ensuring appropriate entries are accurately posted in the Retails Department’s billing system.
• Oversee and manage billing schedules, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and prompt issuance of invoices to meet both customer expectations and company requirements.
• Verify invoice details, including pricing and quantities, by cross referencing with customer’s signed contracts to ensure accuracy, maintain billing integrity, and proactively address any discrepancies or errors to compliance with agreed terms.
• Maintain and update accurate records of billing transactions within the system.

2. Contract Analysis and Compliance

• Analyse customer contract to ensure alignment with invoicing guidelines and regulations.
• Capable of calculating charges in accordance with agreed rates, pricing structures, contractual terms, and apply adjustments when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, tax laws, and internal company policies in all billing procedures.

3. Cross Functional Support

• Provide comprehensive billing support to customer service, sales, and finance by addressing billing related inquiries, disputes, and clarifications.
• Assist in the preparation of billing reports, including revenue summaries, aging reports and data analysis to support decision making processes as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline billing processes or workflows and improve operational efficiency.

4. Collections and Reconciliation

• Manage the collection process by submitting payment files and uploading return files from banks into the billing system.
• Participate in the billing settlement and reconciliation process for invoices with external stakeholders, including MSSL and EMC, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

5. System and Process Management

• Oversee the billing system, identifying and troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross functional teams and IT to enhance billing system functionality.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system updates and improvements.
• Identify gaps in system or process, recommending enhancements and implementing control risk measures as needed.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with external stakeholders, including banks and third-party vendors, to resolve operational queries and issues efficiently.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or Business or equivalent. Diploma holders will be considered for an Officer position.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or in Microsoft Access will be an advantage.

• Perform repair or replacement of defective or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment
• Assist with the monitoring of contractors involved in maintenance on site and maintain asset maintenance plans
• Attend to work orders allocated by Mechanical Engineers
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Preferably 3 years of relevant experience in Power Plants or related industries will be advantageous

· Analyse process parameters, alarms and information / drawings to diagnose and trouble shoot equipment problems

· Perform preventive maintenance to ensure that plant equipment and auxiliary systems continue to operate smoothly and efficiently

· Perform unit functional test for re-commissioning of overhaul units

· Lead in the repair or replacement defective or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment

· Assess spare part requirements and raise purchases, record parts and materials used and review tender quotations

· Coordinate logistic arrangement for all maintenance activities

· Maintain a safe and orderly work area by practicing organised housekeeping

· Preparation of weekly activity reports

· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Job Summary

Responsible for handling all accounts payable and receivables transaction to ensure the proper and accurate entry and coding of accounting related transactions, invoices, expense reports, and the timely submission of customer invoices and payments

• Maintain stock level for specific product range and order parts from Principals/ Suppliers.
• Liaise with principals/ suppliers with regards to the arrival of parts and pricing.

• Assist in debt collection.
• General monthly report and sales forecast supporting document.
• Key in database and perform electronic mailing program.
• Optimize customer satisfaction level and provide excellent customer services.
