5. Assists in coordinating outbreak investigations with the Deputy/HOD and MOH.
6. Validates test results and ensures quality control procedures.
7. Updates manuals and protocols to maintain service quality.
8. Assists with department inspections and biosafety management.
9. Conducts risk assessments for lab procedures and ensures safety compliance.
10. Supports grant applications and collaborates with local and international labs.
11. Provides expert input on diagnostic methods and new technologies.

General:

1. Complies with safety, ethical, and infection control standards.
2. Participates in team meetings and laboratory operations.
3. Assists in ordering lab supplies and equipment.
4. Works overtime or on weekends as needed.
5. Performs other tasks as directed by supervisors.

Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Microbiology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Molecular Biology, Clinical Diagnosis, or Infectious Disease.
• Ability to lead research projects and work in a team.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
