Position: Security Officer

· Work Week & Shift: 5-6 days per week, rotating shift

Job Responsibilities:

The security officer will be responsible for monitoring and managing security procedures, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment across various operational areas, including airport facilities.

· Monitor CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment

· Conduct routine patrols of the premises

· Operate screening equipment such as X-ray machines and metal detectors to inspect baggage for prohibited items

Responsibilities

1. Perform document checks on instructions (e.g., Board Resolutions, Structured Forms) for change of account signatories.
2. Conduct Identification & Verification (ID&V) where EWSS (Enterprise-Wide Surveillance System) screening is performed for new directors and/or new-to-bank signatories.
3. Create customer profile records for new signers in core banking systems.
4. Compare and identify required changes for account signatories.
5. Ensure account signatory details and account operating requirements are properly maintained and updated.
6. Carry out all tasks assigned in accordance with operating and compliance procedures.
7. Participate in departmental initiatives, including process improvements and system enhancements, by working across business and technology lines to define, analyze, and lead improvements to business processes and procedures in line with best practices and regulatory/legal compliance.
8. Ensure all requests are processed within the agreed service-level agreement (SLA).
9. Coordinate and promptly follow up on discrepancy items with relevant parties, escalating exceptions to supervisors as necessary.
10. Understand the bank's policies on AML/CFT, information protection, risk and security control, and regulatory compliance, and report problems or exceptions to supervisors immediately.
11. Respond to email and phone inquiries from Business Units (BUs) and other teams.
12. Handle internal customer complaints tactfully and ensure responsive problem-solving for inquiries from branches and other units/parties.
13. Manage relationships with Regional Operations, Product Teams, and Risk & Control stakeholders.
14. Take on any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
2. Experience: Relevant experience in operational controls and pre-check capabilities within a Corporate Banking setting.
3. Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Applications.
4. Mindset: Strong control and process management mindset with attention to detail and the ability to conduct deep-dive investigations.
5. Judgment: Ability to exercise sound judgment on transaction monitoring and escalate red flags as needed.
6. Domain Knowledge: Strong knowledge and work experience in corporate banking and associated process life cycles.
