Role

• PC literate and proficient in ACCPAC software
• Hardworking, meticulous, responsible and able to multi-task
• Able to work independently, has initiative and able to work well with all levels of management & staffs

• At least 3 years of relevant experience; with construction project background and able to start on short notice or immediate will have an added advantage
• Able to start work immediately / within short notice will be an advantage.

Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our growing team. The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing management reports, GST reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management/financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Transaction Management: Record, reconcile, and maintain financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• GST Compliance: Prepare and submit GST reports and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation and provide financial forecasting support to help clients manage their finances effectively.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documents, records, and reports to auditors.
• Client Liaison: Communicate with clients regarding their accounts, providing support and resolving any accounting-related queries.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify potential issues, propose solutions, and contribute to process improvements within the finance department.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
  Fresh graduates with relevant academic qualifications are welcome to apply.
  
• Experience:At least 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting is preferred.
  Fresh graduates with a strong academic background in accounting are encouraged to apply.
  
• Skills & Competencies:Proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB, Autocount, Xero, and Microsoft Excel is essential.
  Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
  Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

Job Scope

· Perform daily accounting & finance duties including receivables and payables processes, general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation, etc.;

· Prepare timely month-end and year-end financial and management reports for subsidiaries;

· Consolidate accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards;

· Assist in group consolidation reports;

· Manage timely closing process and reconciliations, including for intercompany transactions;

· Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, regulations as well as corporate policies.

· Liaise with auditors on audit and tax queries;

· Liaise with banks on banking transactions;

· Support the operational teams in maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Job Requirements:

· Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent;

· At least 2 years of experience in accounting & finance;

· Strong understanding of accounting principles;

· Ability to work in a dynamic environment;

· Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency;

• Handle full set accounts.
• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities.
