• Actively conduct risk assessments at project site and recommend measures to minimize and eliminate possible risks to any person.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Safety, Health and Environment Management or other relevant subjects
• Holding Certificate in WSH Coordinator Course/ Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course and/or any Relevant Safety Certificates from any approved institutions will be preferred.
• Registered as Workplace Safety & Health Officer and Environmental Control Officer with at least five (5) years of post-registration and practical experience relevant to the scope of works of the contract.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment.
• Working location at project site office, Pasir Ris.
• 5.5 working days
• Short notice period or can immediately onboard will be advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain cement plant machinery, including crushers, kilns, mills, and packing units, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control systems to minimize downtime and ensure consistent plant operations.
• Continuously monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive steps to ensure optimal equipment efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, plant operating procedures, and environmental regulations. Report any incidents or hazards immediately.
• Work with process engineers and plant supervisors to optimize production processes and improve yield and energy efficiency.
• Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure readiness for any maintenance or repair jobs.
• Record, analyze, and report operational data, including machinery performance, production rates, and quality control results, to assist with performance reviews and decision-making.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, to resolve technical issues and support plant improvements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Payroll administration handles. E.g. employee reimbursements, bank files, and payslips.
2. Mandatory insurance involves registration and renewal of insurance accounts.
3. Submission of statutory claims deal with administration and application for various leave types.
4. Onboarding / offboarding includes contract drafting, settlement letters. For new hires, onboarding initiatives and support.
5. Providing comprehensive HR management and operational support services, including work permit renewals, worker levy payments, employee correspondence addressing daily HR inquiries, and maintaining electronic personnel files.
6. Handle all administrative tasks covers a range of HR tasks, from reminders to Info-tech HRMS electronic file maintenance and data entry in human resources information systems and audits for accuracy and compliance.
7. Take ownership of end to end recruitment processes, including but not limited to job postings, candidate sourcing to selection.
8. Performance management involves employee development, appraisals, and improvement plans.
9. Compensation and benefits provide advice and support for salary benchmarking and benefits planning.
10. Coordinate training programs and development initiatives for employees.
11. Provide advice and handle all employee inquiries on HR related matters.
12. Overseeing and maintaining office supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and organizing corporate mail and deliveries for employees.
13. Filing management entails systematically maintaining and organizing all business records.
14. Handling inbound calls.
15. Handling and maintaining the stock items records.
16. Liaise with suppliers, issue purchase order to suppliers & coordinate the purchases. If needed, to look for new suppliers; obtain quotations from suppliers, comparison of pricing and follow up till items delivered. There have others administrative stuffs to support and help.
17. You are responsible for all duties assigned to you by the Directors of the Company in the capacity for which you are employed.
18. You shall co-ordinate and co-operate with all your co-workers as and when necessary. You shall cover duty for administrative assistant whenever they are on leaves.
19. You shall report to the Directors and or any other officials designated by the Directors for the discharge of your duties.
