About the role:

Accounts Executive, Payroll

Reporting to the Accountant, we are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Executive, Payroll to manage the hotel’s payroll system, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of wages in compliance with applicable tax laws and Four Seasons Hotel Singapore policies. What you will do:

• Perform data entry for Purchase Invoices (PO) and Credit Notes in the ERP system
• Record receipts, process payments via internet banking, and update the Cash Book promptly
• Maintain and review vendor remittance details, and input into the system as needed.
• Reconcile vendor accounts upon receipt of statements
• Conduct bank reconciliation once a month
• Input staff reimbursements into the ERP system weekly
• Generate and reconcile GST Input & Output Tax reports once a month
• Compile and prepare Budget Tracking for all departments once a month

Job description

• Responsible for monthly and year-end closing activities including preparation of audit schedules, reconciliation and analysis
• Preparation and posting of journal entries
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in the ERP system
• Monthly interco confirmation and resolving differences
• Monthly bank reconciliation
• Review/prepare monthly schedules and account fluctuations analysis
• Prepare regulatory filing reports, annual financial statements, quarterly GST filing and corporate tax returns
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary on audit and filing matters
• Participate in ERP system implementation and process improvement projects
• Maintain internal controls and recommend policies/procedures to enhance process efficiencies
• Any other ad-hoc duties

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting
• Working experience in handling full sets of accounts
• Hands-on experience with accounting software/ERP system
• Experience in consolidation of group accounts would have added advantage
• Auditing and/or supervisory experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications

Due to the recent expansion of our operations, we are seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to support the Group’s finance and administration department in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Executing monthly financial closing procedures.
• Ensuring accuracy and currency of financial documentation, encompassing accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Collaborating on financial audit readiness and maintaining smooth communication with auditors.
• Initiating and documenting payments, validating records, and facilitating disbursements.
• Establishing and sustaining robust internal controls to safeguard corporate assets and financial information.
• Coordinating with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax agents, and secretarial services, to ensure compliance and punctual submission of financial records and returns.
• Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts and annual consolidated financial statements for audit purposes.
• Assisting with BEPS 2.0 Pillar Two Tax compliance.
• Supporting day-to-day finance operations, documents filing and assisting in other ad hoc, general and administrative work.

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, ISCA, ACCA, or other equivalent professional qualifications
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous and organized individual with strong accounting and consolidation, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Positive work attitudes and strong initiatives and willingness to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of QuickBooks will be an advantage
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Preferably with at least three years’ working experience in accounting / auditing / group consolidation
