THE POSITION

Title:

As the COO, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, scalability, and efficiency across the organization. • Assist with day to day operations of the Resource Management functions and duties
• Checking through security clearance forms and submit the forms to relevant government body.
• Administration of leave management, transfers/movements, performance appraisal reviews, turnover, promotions etc.
• Collaborate with the Business Unit’s Resource Team on the daily resource management’s operational duties
• Conduct orientation and on-boarding of new joiners
• Manage off-boarding processes, exit interviews and clearance
• Ensure accuracy in the maintenance of manpower records in the system
• Administer and effectively implement the processes for disciplinary, grievance handling and termination/exit clearance, to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Prepare monthly reports and recruitment statistics to Management
• Verify and process invoices for all contract manpower

Requirements:

• Diploma preferred
• Must have years of experience in HR admin/coordination, specifically EPOL & WPOL, EA
• Experience in using SAP.

Job Description

1-1. Overall Operations Supervision

Supervise overall warehouse operations including SG local transportation from/to company’s warehouse(s)
Establish and monitor the basic practice and implementation such as MHE pre-inspection, daily-walk-about in the respective work environment with the support from section leads below SLM
Supervise and monitor WSH monthly reports and take a lead to close any negative findings.
Receive an external or/and internal escalation upon any deviation or potential risk of deviation from the set KPIs.
Provide the respective section leads with the relevant guidance and direction whereby how to adjust, correct, or upgrade daily operations.

1-2. Overall Operations Projects Supervision

Delegate the respective tasks to the respective section leads by determining a schedule.
Monitor the completion of respective project tasks.
Receive any escalation from the section leads upon any potential delay or obstacles.
Provide the respective section leads with the relevant advice and guidance for their clear understanding. - Schedule and arrange any internal session for internal alignments in case of any potential issues, especially the severe ones.
Properly and timely escalate the potential risks to the direct superior.

1-3. Operations Resource Planning

Come up with operations manpower resource planning.
Conduct recruitment interviews in case of additional manpower resources to bring into the operations team.
Exercise any warning session(s) or termination session(s) related to the respective section leads

1-4. Warehouse P/L Control

Analyse monthly department P/L starting from sales revenue, direct cost, indirect cost up to gross profit with the direct superior.
Come up with some proposals to improve our sales or/and cost for further discussion and finalisation with the direct superior.

3. Mandatory Requirements

Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a managerial position in 3PLWarehouse operations.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environments
Mature, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Ability to motivate & manage a dynamic service-oriented organization.
Ability to support change in a fast-moving environments & coach organization
Ability to use the technical skill, process discipline to build & develop service deliverables & capabilities.
Able to speak, read and write English upon directly communicating with customers or / and appointed vendors

Requirements:

• Accredited with IES

• Minimum 3 years of supervision experiences including experience in piling works, prestressing, highways bridge, elevated viaduct, MRT station, road works, deep excavation & tunnelling works.
