• Plan, prepare, co-ordinate and monitor the preparation of financial statement and items to ensure accuracy, reliability and completeness
• Ensure the reports are prepared in accordance with the accounting standards, statutory requirements, Insurance Act and ACRA Guidelines, and/or other regulatory bodies.
• Produce any required financial analysis for all Funds and variance analysis between IFRS17 and IFRS4 basis.
• Liaise with actuary, tax agents, internal and external auditors for actuary, audit related matters and queries.
• Ensure internal controls and SOP are updated and reviewed regularly.
• Ensure that the allocated tasks are completed within agreed timeline.

Requirements

• Min. Bachelors' in Accounting or professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, in financial reporting role from insurance companies.
• Ability to work within tight timelines.
• Able to start work within short notice
