JOB DESCRIPTION
The People & Culture Executive (Generalist) is responsible for the day-to-day human resources activities within the school, focusing on building a collaborative and inclusive work culture. This role encompasses a broad range of HR functions, including administrative recruitment, employee relations, staff professional & development, and compliance with labour regulations.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle monthly reports and claims with in house HRIS system
- End-to-end coordination of recruitment assignments, including administering and administration of all in and outsourced services of the employee and activities throughout the life-cycle of a recruitment, onboarding and relocation (immigration, flights, accommodations, payroll coordination, incl. assisting in tax and labour law, children’s education, family support and insurances)
- Assist the senior leadership in coordinating all training and development related activities
- Proactively come up with new ideas and innovative approaches for continuous improvement in the School’s organisational plan
- Prepare employment contracts and corresponding compensation packages
- Handle employee claims, welfare, benefits and salary compensation review and process
- Review, update and maintain proper filing, recording and data entry for employee’s personal data and documentations
- Review, update and maintain proper insurance and medical policy, handbooks, compensation & benefits, appraisal and employee related documentations
- Supervise and support the executives / assistants on any HR related matters
- Handles all work passes related matters such as application, renewal and issuance
- Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership
- Involvement in whole school events and activities as required.
- To perform any other duties as assigned by the management, stakeholders and line manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- A relevant degree in Business Management, Finance Management or Human Resource Management
- At least 2 years of relevant HR experience
- Knowledge of Singapore employment act and HR-related government regulatory act
- Possess good IT skills and knowledge (E.g. Google doc, slides, sheet, Microsoft MS office applications - v-lookup, mail merge, powerpoint and etc)
- Proficient in HRIS system, G-Suite, SAP SuccessFactors and Power BI will be an added advantage
- Analyses data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to payroll, recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
