The Department of Mathematics at the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for tenured/tenure-track faculty positions at all levels beginning in August 2023.

NUS is a leading global university centered in Asia. The Department of Mathematics has about 60 faculty members and teaching staff whose expertise covers major areas of contemporary mathematical research.

We seek promising scholars and established mathematicians with outstanding track records in any field of pure and applied mathematics. The Department is particularly interested in, but not restricted to, considering applicants specializing in any of the following areas:

Qualifications

PhD in Mathematics or related disciplines.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage staff to achieve key performance targets.
• Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, replenishment, returns, and ensure proper handling of stock take and random counts.
• Operational Efficiency: Streamline procedures, ensure accurate documentation, and manage store opening, closing, and daily banking.
• Manpower & Budget Management: Plan and oversee store manpower and contribute to budget planning.
• Additional Duties: Support other tasks as assigned by superiors to maintain smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma holder
• Min. 1 year of retail supervisory experience.
