Using samples from multiple marine species that have been collected along an approximate 6000km east to west transect from Sumatra to Papua New Guinea, the candidate will work on a project that seeks to explain why the marine ecosystems of the Coral Triangle are so biologically diverse, what facilitates and what restricts gene flow in the region, and finally, how can this information be used to advance marine conservation planning in Southeast Asia.

The main responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• DNA extraction, PCR, High-throughput DNA sequencing library preparation (Illumina, PacBio, ONT) and the associated techniques.

• Advise on various aspects of the project development

Executive Support

• Attend to assignments or queries proactively
• Atend and draft client's meeting minutes

Qualification, Competencies/ Other Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate secretarial work.
• Diploma holder with related experience or degree holder or holder of a professional certificate in chartered secretary.
• Good understanding of regulatory and statutory requirements of the Singapore Companies Act.
• Ability to organise and prioritise work.
• Possess a flexible and proactive attitude.
• Good command of English is a key requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist the company's management team with administrative and basic accounting tasks.
• Perform general office duties and upkeep of office to ensure that it is always neat and tidy.
• Assist to prepare sale quotation and invoices
• Keep good records of the company documentation.
• Assist in coordination with vendors
• Printing, scanning and filing documents (e.g. tax invoices, invoices issued etc.)
• Keeping good records of supplier invoices and payment

• Assist team on project coordination if required
• Assist team on documents compilation for the landlord/authority before projects commence.

Requirements

• Preferably with 2 years of Administrative/ Accounting experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• A team player and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Preferred Skills

• Understand basic local tax (GST) will be a bonus
• Experience in the interior design or construction industry is advantageous.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies to enhance financial workflows and internal controls.
