RESPONSIBILITIES

The job holder reports directly to the Senior Facilities Manager. The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: -

• Conducts daily inspection of the entire school compound for cleanliness, safety and maintenance;
• Plans and carries out regular preventive maintenance of facilities including aircon servicing, maintenance of kitchen equipment, kitchen exhaust, fridge maintenance, painting and cleaning of all facilities in the school;
• Handles maintenance requests and update maintenance request records and monitor response time;
• Handles maintenance cash float and ordering of hardware and materials;
• Handles feedback from Principal and Teachers, and provide prompt responses within the same day;
• Adheres to effective execution of safety and standard operating procedures and workplace safety and health (WSH) guidelines;
• Conducts WSH training of school cleaning and support staff and maintains records of training conducted;
• Works together with school's management team to plan, execute school events, and activities such as open house, concert, graduation ceremonies and other ad-hoc projects to support the room set-up of furniture and tear down of decorations;
• Supervise contractors and team of security and in-house cleaners, ensuring their full attendance and to keep proper records of their attendance;
• Provides coverage of duties should there be any absence of school cleaning staff at the school;
• Monitors performance of contract cleaning staff to ensure that they are cleaning the assigned zones and meets the high cleaning standards set and that cleaning equipment and chemicals are stored safely;
• Manages external vendors and contractors on-site maintenance works and their contracts in terms of work completion and thorough cleanliness;
• Ensures all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations;
• Liaise with various government authorities such as BCA, NEA, URA;
• Undertakes periodically with projects and works assigned from time to time
• Handles procurement of maintenance or minor renovation works relating to school's facilities;
• Identifies training needs of employees, source suitable training courses and submit training requisition to the Human Resource Department;
• Maintains training records of all staff who attended / completed training;
• Prepares annual training plan for maintenance and support staff;
• Be in-charge of all matters relating to the school's logistics and facilities management;
• Assist in internal events planning;
• Responsible for management of logistics, equipment and inventory related to programme delivery;
• Undertake any other duties or responsibilities assigned;
• Must be hands-on and possesses strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Possess Diploma in Building Services or Facilities Management;
• At least 3 years of related work experience, preferably in school environment or similar;
• Self-driven and committed individual with excellent follow up;
• Results oriented and able to work under pressure;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Competent in Microsoft Office.

Job Description:-

• To take full responsibilities of accounting activities of Companies within the Group;
• To manage statutory company administration responsibilities;
• To perform daily bank entries and reconciliations - include verifying loan interest and trade financing interest charged by banks.
• To prepare sales reporting and input sales data into MYOB.
• Daily incoming funds reporting for different bank accounts
• To ensure accurate and timely preparation of yearly statutory financial statements and year end company audit;
• To ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly management reports;

• To handle quarterly GST declaration submission.

• Month end closing - intercompany balance reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets/ prepayment schedules, loan schedules across different banks, FX Revaluations

Qualifications & experience

• Fresh graduate / Post graduate/For Account Assistant internship without experience. (Entry Level)
• Position is open to Singapore Citizen and Permanent residents only due to limited foreign Permit quota by MOM .
• Desk bound work and long hours if required
• Good written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the restaurant manager in managing day to day restaurant operations, and ensure a positive outlet image
• Coordinating front and back of the house operations for smooth delivery of services

To assist the Front Office Manager in ensuring smooth operation of the Front Office. To be responsible in directing, coordinating, and monitoring the overall Front Office operation as directed by the Front Office Manager to meet the service standards of the Hotel. To direct the Front Office operation in the absence of the Front Office Manager. To assist the Front Office Manager in personnel development in order to have trained and qualified staff to consistently maintain and increase the Hotel’s service.

• Assist the Front Office Manager in setting up the Front Office training tools such as job descriptions, standards and procedures, and training plans as a guideline for the Front Office operation.
• Assist the Front Office Manager to select, hire, and train employees to meet the hotel's standard of service.
• To assist Front Office Manager in supervising, organising, directing and coordinating the staff and activities of the Front Office.
• To have Front Office managerial presence felt behind the Reception counter; ensure that Front Office Employees perform their daily duties according to required standards.
• Emphasis will be on the assignment of rooms for all arrivals, and this includes the training of the Guest Relations Executives in this aspect of the job.
• Check and ensure that consistency in the service for guest is maintained from the reservation stages to the final departure.
• To plan and prepare work schedules for Duty Manager and Front Desk personnel.
• Authorise the acceptance of traveller cheques, cash advance, rebates, paid out, refunds on the basis of established procedures.
• Monitor and control guest's credit status to ensure that payment is collectable and received on time. Perform a regular follow up for pending payments to ensure that they are collected.
• To coordinate with security in the investigation of irregularities and undesirable guests.
• Monitor and control the rooms’ situation in connection with reservations, daily occupancy and rooms’ availability to ensure maximum revenue through effective yield management.
• Attend department heads meeting in the absence of the Front Office Manager or other meetings as required.
• Be familiar with all Accounting Standards and Procedures pertaining to rooms revenue and advise staff concerned to adhere to them in daily operations.
• Know all procedures in case of emergency or fire and make sure that staff are periodically trained to face this situation and know their function according to the procedures.
• Participate in the inspection and checking the preparation for VIPs and ensure that they will receive proper treatment as VIP during their stay with the hotel.
• Keep updating with new Standards, Procedures and other information and advise Front Office section heads accordingly.
• Perform other duties related or unrelated to Front Office Department or as assigned by Front Office Manager, or the Management.

Strategic Planning and Revenue Growth

• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue across all departments (rooms, food and beverage, events, etc.).
• Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns to adjust pricing and promotions.
• Provide regular updates on sales performance, operational metrics, and financial results.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Management and Sales teams to optimize pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies.

Sales Oversight

• Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to ensure effective campaigns and promotions align with the hotel’s business goals.
• Drive initiatives to attract and retain key accounts and business partnerships.
• Evaluate the success of sales and marketing efforts and recommend improvements.            

Operational Leadership

• Oversee the performance of commercial departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Events, and Reservations).
• Ensure alignment between operations and the overall commercial strategy of the hotel.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies that enhance profitability.
• Special projects champion to elevate Guest Satisfaction and improvement of process.
• Act as the General Manager’s representative in their absence, providing strong leadership and decision-making support.         

Financial Performance Monitoring

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room), ADR (Average Daily Rate), GOP (Gross Operating Profit) and occupancy rates.
• Prepare and present regular financial and performance reports to senior management.
• Identify underperforming areas and create actionable plans to address them.

Customer Experience and Brand Alignment

• Ensure that commercial strategies are aligned with delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Maintain consistency with brand standards while adapting to market-specific needs.

Team Development and Leadership

• Guide and support department heads, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s objectives.
• Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing commercial team.

Stakeholder and Owner Relations

• Act as a liaison between the hotel management team and stakeholders/owners to communicate performance and strategies.

Job Purpose

You are required to provide underwriting support for all product lines in New Business Underwriting (NBU).

The Job

• Underwrite new applications for Life, Accident and Health, disability income and long term care proposals
• Countersign and provide guidance to new joiners
• Provide underwriting advice & support for financial planners through e-booking, emails, phone calls and NBU counter
• Provide critical liaison and build strong business relationship between NBU and distribution channels
• Project management, e.g. reviewing underwriting guidelines, reviewing & streamlining work processes to support business operations
• Ensure all department KPIs are achieved
• Continuous Customer Engagement: to keep the financial planners updated on a continuous basis throughout the assessment of new business applications - through phone calls, emails and meetings (if required). This would include sharing details of the queries raised, possible options to expedite case closures and for postponed or declined cases. To ensure that we proactively engage with the financial planners and provide best in class customer service.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
