Provide guidance and oversight of classification, certification, and statutory survey work within the Region/ Worldwide. Job Duties/Roles

16. Keep Vice President/Chief Surveyor and regional (Senior) Vice President advised of major survey-related problems in the region. Provide other input and data as requested by the Vice President/Chief Surveyor

17. Responsible for maintaining the port state control database of detained and/or intervened ABS classed vessels in the region. Liaise with the MOU Regimes, as necessary regarding ABS classed vessels that have been detained by the Port State Authorities.

18. Serves as a member of the Regional Safety Committee.
