Job Description:

This is a full time role for an Assistant Operations Manager located in Geylang Bahru. Our client is one of Singapore's Leading Specialists for Buddhist funeral services and you will be responsible for managing funeral transfers and services, preparing monthly schedules for ground staff, and handling petty cash and vehicle-related matters. They work closely with all departments, oversee the Customer Service Team by assisting with phone duties and managing funeral parlours, and ensure the Operations Team adheres to company policies and processes. Additionally, they assist the Human Resources Team with talent recruitment and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-4 years of management experience
• Comfortable working in the funeral industry
• Possess class 3 driver license
• Able to do shift work, and work on Public Holidays and Overtime

Working Hrs: 42.5hrs/weekly

9. Transport arrangements

10. Office administration tasks

11. Emergency response (calling ambulance services)

12. Other duties as assigned by Admin Manager or supervisors

Qualifications:

• GCE 'N' Level Certificate or equivalent and above (education certification may be offset with relevant work experience)

• Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and negotiation skills

• Ability to multitask, work both independently and as a team

• Candidates must have at least 1 years of relevant working experience

Remuneration: Basic + OT

Work Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm) and need to work on Saturday for the week/ Monday to Friday and do not need to work on Saturday for the week (8.30am to 6pm). Need to work Alternate Saturday (8.30am to 12.30pm).

- Shuttle Bus will be provided islandwide

• Be able to work in a fast pace/high volume environment, with a variety of requirements to follow and learn
• Minimum computer skill (to review order status the he handling, and input information for the cargo in system)
• Communication skills and team work
• Can support overtime
• Maintain good attendance
