SACEOS is a leading association with over 40 years of proven dedication to serving the MICE industry in Singapore.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Manager, Members Engagement & Events. In this role, you will be supporting the association to manage member relationship, organise membership-related activities as well as SACEOS' flagship events and business missions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute SACEOS' flagship events, such as the Singapore MICE Forum and Asia CEO Summit.
• Trade Missions: Manage inbound and outbound trade missions, coordinating logistics, delegations, and business matching activities.
• Member Recruitment and Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract, recruit, and retain members. Identify opportunities to add value to member organisations through targeted initiatives and resources to drive satisfaction and member retention.
• Member Connect Activities: Organise regular Member Connect activities, including networking sessions and workshops, to facilitate knowledge sharing and interaction among members.
• Membership Administration: Administer membership fee collection and membership database management.
• Administrative and Operational Support: Provide support for SACEOS’ training courses when needed.
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in related fields.
• Prior experience in organising large-scale events involving C-level participants.
• Takes initiative and work independently to complete assigned tasks within the given timeline.
• Strong operation and execution skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships with members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

1. Lead or assist with the introduction of innovative Singaporean products or technologies into China, including supplier and project evaluation, supporting project registration, and managing import contracts.

2. Oversee or support the export of company products or technologies to Southeast Asia, including customer development in the region and handling export contracts.

3. Conduct preliminary screening, negotiations, and tracking of investment projects in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

4. Maintain local government relations in Southeast Asia as part of regular BD activities.

5. Handle other BD-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

6. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.

7. Singaporean citizenship or permanent residency.

8. 1–3 years of BD experience in Singapore’s pharmaceutical industry.

9. Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and fluency in Chinese as you will be speaking to clients based in China.

10. Outgoing and proactive, with excellent learning ability, communication, organizational, coordination, and logical thinking skills.
