• Experience in Firewall configuration and network security policy implementation. Hands-on experience on FortiGate/cisco/Palo Alto is desirable
• Experience in debugging and fixing technical problems in network by coordinating with vendors, datacentre and onsite support teams whenever required
• Excellent knowledge of core network services (DNS, SMTP, NTP, syslog, HTTP)
• Excellent understanding of current network technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, IPSec, VRRP, HSRP, SNMP, NAT, Multicast, Sub-netting, Access-lists.
• Excellent understanding of VLANs, Trunking, VTP, Spanning Tree, etherchannel etc

Job Description

The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department of National University of Singapore (NUS) is looking for applicants for research engineer positions to support 3D-IC package fault localisation and failure analysis (FA) techniques with ANSYS High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS). The applicant will work closely with our researchers to understand and derive insights from scientific experiments and data. The applicant will also assist in the design and development of a physical test vehicle for the measurement of simulated results.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Contribute to defect classification and localization through simulation defect modelling.
2. Involve in 3D-IC forward predictive modelling (i.e. include chip and circuit blocks) by generating training materials.
3. Design of mock IC test vehicles for high frequency electromagnetic and DC magnetic field measurement and testing.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or higher Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science or its equivalent from a reputable University/Institute is preferred, or equivalent related experience.
• Candidate with experience in microelectronic research, characterisation, metrology, electrical testing, FA and strong in data analysis will have advantage. Knowledge of AI/ML/DL development and ANSYS/TCAD modelling.

Job Overview:

As a 5G System Test Engineer, you will be involved in the testing and verification of 5G communication systems, ensuring our products meet international standards and customer requirements, contributing to the stable and efficient operation of 5G networks. You will have the opportunity to gain deep insights into core 5G technologies, master advanced testing methods and tools through hands-on experience, laying a solid foundation for your career.

1. Participate in functional testing, performance testing, compatibility testing, and stability testing of 5G communication systems to ensure they meet design requirements and industry standards.

Education Background:

Professional Knowledge:

• Familiar with basic knowledge in communication principles, digital signal processing, and computer networks; prior knowledge of 5G technology is preferred.

Skills:
